Default Pandora - auto resume when plugging in headphones?

Pandora does stop playing when i unplug my headphones which is good, but is there a way to make it automatically resume when I plug them back in?

I don't think that's possible. Remember that Pandora is an internet streaming service. Doing what you want means that while paused, Pandora is still in the background actively downloading data even while you aren't listening. This was probably done on the Pandora app service level so that it won't use up your data AND battery if it's not running.

Why wouldn't that be possible? I see it as the same thing as me hitting pause, unplugging the headphones, plugging them back in and hitting play. I had my iPhone able to resume whatever audio source was playing when plugging the headphones back in (with a jailbreak app), Pandora included. I was hoping I'd be able to get that functionality on this phone too.

Because Pandora the app does not allow it natively. You can try Headset Icon, an app that works like how you describe it, auto-play on plugin. But last I checked it doesn't support Pandora.

I don't know if a root app exists that does what you said regarding Pandora. But you have to get around the OS sleep function for it to work.
