Just updated my S3 to 4.1.1 and now, when selecting multiple emails in the Gmail app and then changing their labels, all the emails are then de-selected meaning I have to re-select them all to archive them. In ICS, the emails stayed selected after changing their labels.

I've gone through the options and can't find any relating to this behaviour. Royal PITA, this. Is there an option I'm missing?

Try this...... Automatically mark or move multiple messages - Gmail Help . Hope it helps.

Is that for web-based Gmail? I don't have a select all button so don't think this applies to the app?
