Sometimes it takes a few hours to show up on the phone.

You can install it from here now

Very odd behavior. I didn't search from my phone; I searched from my PC. I searched for Snapseed and got zilch. Your post popped up and the link took me directly to it. Tried the search again...and zilch. Installed it from your link and then searched for it again on the PC and still nothing. Made sure I was logged in to the store and was. I'm not certain what the issue is.

Thanks for the link.

I don't see the point in such large apps as Snapseed when there are other much smaller apps that do a better job. Snapseed is 20 x as big as Photo Editor & it does far less. Seems like featureless bloatware in comparison to Photo Editor.

I have yet to find a better image editing app with useful features than Photo Editor, which is barely over 1 MB in size & even smaller if moved to the SD card. Even better for devices with little memory, no SD expansion or small RAM.

Thanks, never tried that one. I like the zoom ability I don't see in Snapseed. I do 90% of my editing on a pc, so don't need the bloatware.

I've been enjoying this with some pics I recently took as well. Really sleek app.

Was reading this morning that Snapseed also only works with Android versions 4+ . Maybe that is why some of us can't even see it when we do a search on Google Market, as I at least have a phone that is v2.3.5, so the app is not compatible for me to use anyway.

Also read that Google is pushing this app to be convenient with Google + users as the target. I guess like Farcebook uses Instacrap. I don't use Google + & certainly wouldn't upload any images of personal or commercial value to social sites, where they instantly become either the property of or content value for these behemoth data collectors and resellers like Google, Farcebook, Instacrap, Twatter, etc..

I'd much rather pay the little guy developer for their work vs. the big guy that is using our content for profit.

And MacGyver as the devleoper of Photo Editor has implemented every request that I've made & some incredibly quickly. Support the little guy! He's just one of us!
