Default Calendars

What apps are available that, in month view, show the actual event and not a bunch of hash marks, etc? I have been using aCalendar, but the latest update is not playing well with my DROID RAZZR MAXX HD on Jelly Bean.

Have a look @ Pocket Informant. It can be configured in many ways/views and will show events by name. You will also see the actual times below, if you configure it that way by clicking on the date. (Without having to go to the day view.) It syncs with the built in calendar so also syncs, thru that, to Google if you want that.

I will take a look. I also figured out what the problem was with aCalendar. The Google calendar colors need to be the same in aCalendar for each calendar. Thanks.

1. Jorte - 4x4 or 4x5 Monthly Widget
2. Quick Calendar - Lists Upcoming Events in the Notification Bar

Thanks much! I read this thread because I was looking for a new Calendar app for the same reason as the OP--display event text in monthly view.

I hate to admit it, but I was already using Pocket Informant and just didn't look more carefully in the Settings. That's the kind of behavior that must drive developers crazy--they implement a nice feature and then someone complains that the app needs that feature. [Guilty!]

Been using Jorte on my Galaxy Nexus, and I absolutely love it. The alert types can also be set to show up on the notification bar. Tons and tons of settings and options with Jorte.
