Have you installed Bing yet? If not, that's step one. Once that's done, you should get the choice of which browser to use, the next time you click on a link. Just be sure to choose Bing, and then select always. That way, it'll load Bing for you in the future.

Greetings tangerine,

I think that Bing is a search engine, not a browser.

Here is a link to the Bing app on the playstore.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.bing&feature=search_resul t#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5taWNyb3NvZnQuYmluZyJd

Hope this helps.

Good catch TMML. I saw it in the Google Play, but didn't bother to see if it was actually a browser.

I've never heard of a carrier blocking apps before... I would surmise it means that your carrier (not sure which carrier you are on) has decided that they don't want people to instal that app, so they are having google block it.

They block apps. VZW still prohibits Google Wallet, AFAIK.

Don't most browsers give you the choice of search engine? Boat has Google, Bing and Yahoo. I added Duck and Startpage to the home page.

yes I have Verizon that seems ridiculous to block the public from putting a search engine of their choice on a phone they have purchased I will call them to clarify
