Default Automatic keyboard open

Hey guys,

I have a really hard time solving this issue, and would really appreciate if you can help:

I'm trying to define that my keyboard will open automatically when I open the contacts app. Right now, I have to first open the contacts app, and then to press on the search line in order to open the keyboard. I want to skip the step of pressing the search line, and make the keyboard open right when I open the contacts app.

I tried usuing Tasker and Automateit apps, but didn't find any solution.

Thanks in advance!!

I have a *strong* suspicion that you're out of luck, but it might help if you provided more info. What phone model are you using? Are you rooted? If so, what ROM?

Regardless of this info, you might have better luck with replacing your stock contacts app with something from Google Play, and then asking its Dev to add that function to it.

Default My phone is not rooted

I use Galaxy Note 2.

Thanks for the info! I will try what you said. I don't understand how it is so hard to find a solution to this simple issue.
