Default Titanium Backup Over Heating GS3 & Rom Manager Question Also

For some reason when I run any of the Titanium Backup Pro on my Verizon GS3 the GS3 gets really hot and shuts down. Rather than trying to figure out the cause I'm just wondering if there is an alternative that is just as good that won't do that and is just as simple to use.

Secondly Clockwork Mod ROM Manager tells me that my Verizon GS3 is not supported.

Lastly, is it possible for me to get refunded for these Apps since they are not working properly.

You can always contact the developer if you have a problem and want a refund.

But I've never heard of this with Titanium Backup, and the handset going into thermal overload and shutting down sounds very wrong to me. Does this happen in any other circumstances? If so it could indicate a hardware problem.

I'm not a fan of ROM Manager, but did you not try the free version first?

Yes I started with the free version. However, I've been using the Pro version for 4 months on this phone with no problems.

I'm about to put the phone back to the stock unrooted ROM and take the phone on on a warranty claim to see if I can get it replaced. The if the new phone is already upgraded to Jelly Bean I might just leave it stock. Right now I can't see any advantages to rooting a phone with a Stock Jelly Bean Rom anyway.
