Default cache cleaner app/widget?

anyone use one?
are they necesary?
i find it helps pics load faster on here when its in the red but i thought app cache would just use the internal memory which i have plenty of...

yeah its not a task killer mate.
i do use an aggressive manual ram clearer but only before benchmarks to test cpu set-ups... i understand why they arent necesary but this is cache, not ram n im not sure where app cache is stored and/or if its limited
ill have a read though, thanks man

jst read it and yeah its about task killers.
its true. my s3 performs best with like 80mb free ram.
i just use the manual task killer to keep a standard n make it more scientific

I use CacheCleaner NG from the play store. I have it set to auto run every 3 days. Keeps my caches clean. Maybe I'm being anal about it but it's peace of mind i guess

I use History Eraser, but not every three days:
Clear Browser History
Clear Call Log
Clear text messages
Clear Market Search History (including new android market history of v3.0.26+)
Clear Google Map Search History
Clear Gmail Search History
Clear Clipboard Data
Clear Youtube Search History (assist)
Clear Google Search History(Android >= 1.6) (assistance)
Clear all app cache files
Clear Frequently Called (Frequently Contacted)

Parshooter likes this.

Clean Master, very simple & intuitive.
4 modes:
History-cleans caches
Tasks- you can unselect tasks you want left alone
Residual files- App leftovers & Temp files
Temp APKs

I made a 1 touch widget, works for me

You can tick each category on or off, if that helps.
