Just started using the official DropBox app for Android and I am quite impressed. No problems and I am looking forward to added features in the future.
I don't register for accounts unless I see a definite advantage and a long term strategy that is plausible. After comparing most of the major storage providers like DropBox, Windows Live SkyDrive, Mozy, Box.net, Drop.io, and MediaFire. I found DropBox on the top of the heap. Here's a referral if you need one:
Good news! SugarSync referral bonuses now permanent.
Well, it looks like enough people complained to SugarSync about their bonus program, so they updated the terms of their referral program, and all bonus space is now permanent for the life of your SugarSync account. The updated document reads:
11. All Additional Storage received by a Subscriber or Friend under this Offer shall remain part of such person’s SugarSync account as long as the person has the account.
Hence, I'm happy to refer you guys to that service. I actually like it better than Dropbox in its current form, since you can choose the folders that you backup and/or sync, and the user interface is excellent. You can check it out here: https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?rf=dxkjtxd0mj323
While I was boycotting SugarSync, I started using Syncplicity, and I really like them, too. The UI isn't quite as sharp, and they don't have an Android app, but they've got a mobile enhanced web site that works perfectly well. If you want to check them out, you can use this referral: https://my.syncplicity.com/Signup/UserSignup.aspx?plan=free&token=LZT6YPIB . In fact, I'd be grateful if you did.
Finally, there's good old Dropbox. From their forums, it looks like they plan to release an update which allows you to specifiy which folders are synchronised. In the meantime, it's very robust, and their bonus program is much more generous than these other two services: 8 GB for Dropbox as compared with 5 GB for either SugarSync or Syncplicity. Feel free to use this referral link. https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTUzMjk2MzM5)
My advice is to try all three. I had all three running simultaneously on my PC running Windows 7, btw, and I found no conflicts.

Update as of 06/03/2010 I still have referrals left, thanks
New update as of 07/02/10. Thanks for the referrals. I'm up to 4gigs in my dropbox account due to the referrals here - awesome. Still have a ways to go to get to the max, so any more referrals are much appreciated.
As of 09/08/10 I'm up to 4.75 gigs, thanks. I noticed that a lot of people have joined but not completed their setup of dropbox. It's free to setup and if you use a referral link you get 2.25 gigs of synchronized cloud storage, which granted is not a whole lot, but it is useful to save copies of important documents or move a few media files to be accessed pretty much anywhere.

Guys my computer is slowly but surely dying. I'm trying to get everything onto the cloud for when it goes. I'm pushing the limits on my dropbox and could really use some more space! I would really appreciate the help if you would use my link if you decide to sign up. For each person that uses my link, we each get 256mb extra free space. I'm trying to get about 2GB more space!
Don't mean to jump in front, or take anything away from others that post their link, but I'm really trying to save all my files and media. So if it is all the same to people, please use my link if you are interested in Dropbox(it is a really nice storage site, and there is an Android app!). If not, no worries I'm sure I can find some takers somewhere! Thanks, here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTU4NTI5Mzc5
