Default Remote Calling App?

Hello,

Maybe someone here can point me in the direction of an App that does the following -

I have 2 phones (1 personal and 1 work). I want to avoid carrying round 2 phones and neither of them are dual sim. I have setup Call Forward to my personal device and installed an SMS forwarder on the Work device.

This works well, however if I need to call someone back they will see my personal number (witholding my number isnt an option). Is there any App out there that can essentially do -

Personal Device via 3g/Wifi connect to the Work Device and initiate an outbound call/sms?

Could be a nightmare for latency but just interested to see other peoples views on how to get round this issue?

Thanks,
N4N

I haven't tried any of them, but there are caller ID spoof apps that will set your caller ID to anything you want. There are probably some for SMS too.

Have you looked at Google Voice? It may meet your needs.

@JimSmith94 - I didnt think those called ID spoof things worked due to network restrictions?

@axarce - Yea possibly but there would be costs associated with it and I wouldnt be able to keep my existing number.

Something like a remote control app from one phone to another that could transmit audio would be good, if not a bit clunky!!
