Default Music storage and streaming

Hi. I'm a musician, of sorts, and I want to store some of my stuff online, partly for security and so I can send links so friends can stream my tunes. *I don't want to search for and buy music online or store all my general music there either. However, i would like to store important files and photos, so a general online storage facility that will stream mp3s to people I've sent dedicated links to.)

I live in the jungle in central America. The climate murders computer and all things electrical, hence the need for security. Also Spotify and other products are not available here it seems. Our Internet link here is by an intermittent G2 cell phone signal, so not good!!
I would like the storage to be secure from personal and corporate theft, too, if possible!

I would be very grateful for ideas as I have been trying to sort this out for ages, but I neither know enough nor have a connection that will allow me to do the research effectively.*
Thanks, Ppinny

Welcome to Android Forums, Ppinny!

I use DropBox for everything you mentioned except steaming MP3s. I don't know if it can do that. Boxee is another storage service but I have little experience with them.

Good luck!

Apple tells people what they want, Microsoft asks what people want, Google gives people what they want (for 15 minutes).

I also use Dropbox a lot, but never tried streaming music. Found this article that says you can, also has another suggestion.
