Default Default launchers won't save

My samsung galaxy exhilirate wont save the launcher i want.
I downloaded launcher pro and clicked set as default but when ever i try to use the hold down home, it suddenly clears the default
Ive tryed doing research and using apps like home switcher but nothing works

I don't remember clearly, but I believe my daughter had the same problem with her old phone. With Launcher Pro non-the-less.

As odd as this sounds, I downloaded an additional launcher:

And this allowed me to save Launcher Pro as the default and I never had an issue with it again.

I like this for ease of swapping defaults without going into the full programs list to find the launcher and clear defaults

I see you mentioned some sort of home switcher... sorry if you've already tried this one.

I’m not familiar with your phone, but Default App Manager has helped me out in similar situations.
