Default Android Email Apps

Hi All,

I have several email accounts tied into my Gmail account through POP3 forwarding and I love the convenience of it. Recently though my college student account and the people who manage it thought it a bright idea to no longer allow POP3 access. For a while I had Mozilla Thunderbird on my PC at home to pull mail from that account through IMAP and push it to Gmail through POP3, but again if my computer went down, restarted or crashed I lost my "mail server" until I could get home to restart the program. I am wondering, in the ever expanding "Play Store" catalogue if there is an app to mimic this action. I know I can get all of my emails down to my phone with the native email app I just want them all pushed to one Gmail account I can check them from anywhere.

No app needed. You can set everything up in Gmail using a computer and the Gmail website.

Gmail doesn't support IMAP import or else this wouldn't be an issue.

Gmail absolutely supports IMAP and I use it every day. I took my old POP3 account and forwarded all mail to a new Gmail address. My "reply to" in the Gmail account is to the old address, but that is only my preference. Manage all your mail with a Gmail IMAP and you will be much happier, and the solution is simple.

Care to share where one can set up an IMAP account in Gmail? When I go to Settings>Accounts and Import>Import Mail and Contacts it automatically takes me through a process to setup a POP3 import and doesn't even give me the chance to select IMAP
