Default what app would this be:tag and email

I Want to take a pic, write ON the pic so that when I send it in AN EMAIL, the recipient can see the pic and some basic note.

I want to do it in that fashion so that basically a computer illiterate person can always know what that pic is.

I service equipment, I take pics of motor or pump data plates.
I want to email them to my boss so when he clicks on the pic he knows
it is a motor from a particular building in the complex.

I tried Keep, couldnt email, only text (HA! Boss is no where NEAR texting)
Evernote didnt seem to work.....Sent a pic in an email as an attachment, yes, but no note ON the pic.....

ideas?

Thanks
Tony

how very odd... ...I went into Keep where I have all the pics 'noted' so I could text them to myself and try Picsay on them.
Only NOW when I share a pic I get a full screen of options, including gmail.
The pic isnt written on like I prefer but the email has the note in its bodies text, which shows up in the preview of the email..

Sorry , just trying to find the smoothest idiot proof method of sharing field data with someone who JUST this week got a computer in the shop.
I cant tell you how many slips of paper with info are lost and how many trips back the the problem are made to get info.

If you want to write on the pics, you can try a free app called Skitch (works better when combined with another free app called Evernote - but you don't need both.)

Just take the photo from the Skitch app. Write on the photo and move the font to where you want it. Add an arrow. Then share. Then email.

This one seems to do what I want....But our crappy County network doesnt seem to let my boss get 15 emails with attachments.
I sent over 10, and all he got in the last 24 hours was 2 or 3....!!!

So I have tried to figure out where Skitch might be saving pics, but I am not sure if it saves the pic WITH the annotations on it.... I could only find the stock photos.

I might have to resort to transferring a ton of pics via thumb drive...

if you also install Evernote (Free in Play Store and from the same company) Skitch will upload your photos to Evernote. Then you can access them in the Evernote app or online in Evernote.

Odd that you can't find them. I don't use Evernote, but I do use Skitch. And when I create a skitch I choose the share button and email it, etc. Then shortly thereafter I have a skitch folder in my gallery.
