Face recognition is cool, but I've tried it and it is problematic at best. Thank goodness it is backed up by a pin. Don't shave your goatee if you use face recognition .

I think that an app that would let you shake your phone to unlock it would be cool. I haven't seen one, but I haven't looked either.

In Security you can "improve facial recognition" and take pictures of yourself clean-shaven or not, with or without glasses, etc. This will improve the overall effectiveness. I used to be at about 50% success rate. Overtime, I have built it up to easily 75% or more. But, ya, far from perfect.

I think I saw a "Shake to unlock" in the appstore a long time ago. But the reviews said that it was too easy to trigger and unlock while walking, etc.

Yeah i think i remember Shake To Wake or something. I used to use Flip Case Control which uses the proximity sensor to turn on/off the screen when the case is opened/closed. Thats pretty snazzy
