I have the Samsung Behold II but don't have a data plan on my phone. Is there a way I can download games and apps to my computer, and then transfer them to the phone via USB?

Yes, just plug in your phone to the computer via the USB cable and mount it. It will bring up the SD card. Just drop the files you want directly in the SD card or make folders. Download Astro file manger. Open it and navigate to the file/apk you want install and then open up app manager/installer, install, and you're golden.

If only there was some way of connecting to the internet from an android phone.

It would need to be wireless because smart phones don't have ethernet ports.

let me think. Something that has no wires, but maintains a high fidelity connection.
