Hi,

I have a weird issues with my HTC Magic G2 since an Android update. What happens is, when I use 3G the YouTube app search fails to find anything, the thumbnails for popular videos etc are all the default film strip (i.e. no thumbnail) and they do nothing. As soon as I switch to WiFi it works.

Now you'd think it was my carrier, Vodafone NZ. But I'm not so sure, because if I use the Android browser to search for the video, then select the youtube app to play it, it works on 3G. Weird. This only started happening after a recent Android update. My friend has the same phone on the same carrier and has the same issue (though he didn't actually notice until I show him...).
