Default Keyboard Shortcuts

Is there an app that will save keyboard shortcuts for the android phone.

Have tried entering a line of text and an email address that I use a lot on the custom dictionary but as soon as I insert a space or a @ the "save" key goes off.

I had an app on the iPhone called text expander also the native iPhone keyboard would save shortcuts like email addresses

Many thanks in advance for any replies

Clipper can let you pull up a list of things you've saved. Also, both SlideIt and Kii keyboards have shortcut features.

Hi there

Thanks for the interest shown

I've downloaded SlideIt and it look like it would do the job so I spent a couple of hours putting about 50 shortcuts that I use all the time, they worked the first time but when I switched off the phone, switched back on and used memo to write something they had all dissappeared!

Anyone know a way of getting to them back as it's most frustrating having spent all that amount of time.

Maybe their tech support can help you on that.
