Default Contact manager that sorts last names?

Hi,

Just traded in my Blackberry Storm for an Android and am looking for a Contact Manager app that allows me to sort by last name (by Company would be nice, too). Any suggestions?

Please, let's not get into religious discussions as to whether the Google implementation is better or not.

Thanks!

Take a look at the sticky for Deja Office at the top of this forum. Apparently that will do it. I haven't used or tried it, though.

But I'm with you: why not be able to sort by last name? Who remembers their dentist's first name?

$40 for Deja Office seems a bit steep, no?

Just tried it. Doesn't have email or other contact info other than phone numbers. Also, when sorting by last name, it gets confused by categories, which are listed, as well as by company names. But, it's free - you get what it's worth.

It does. But I've had the Droid since December, and after 6 months those little quirky things start getting to you.

I figure, $40 amortized over the next 1.5 years wouldn't be too hard to swallow.

But note that I haven't taken the plunge yet.
