is there a way to change beautiful widgets settings with out having to delete it off the desktop and reinstall it? how do i bring up the settings screen?

Tap the sun (or moon or clouds - whatever the weather is) and you will get the detailed weather screen with the 4 day forcast. Then hit menu and select configure from the pop-up. There is also a selection for skins, but if you want to do more than select a new skin hit configure - there will also be an option at the bottom of that screen to skin the widget.

The problem with that method is that if you get to the Configure screen and tell it not to show the weather, you're stuck and have to trash the widget and start over. The good news is that it remembers your previous settings.
