My Maps Editor super slow
It works fine (quirky but close enough, anyway) but if I put the phone in airplane mode maps take forever to load and eventually time out. Even ones that are marked "Available Offline." Has anyone else run into this?
Is there a better way to access maps offline?
Why would I access maps in airplane mode? I'm taking a trip to the US and made some maps I want to use there. I don't want to access the net while roaming, though, so I put the phone in airplane mode to simulate a no-roaming situation.
HTC Magic, BTW.
