I concur! Fruit Ninja is soooooo much fun and I'd love to have it on my Evo. I hope the developers are working on making an Android version.

Fruit Samurai, which is almost a direct clone of Fruit Ninja, has already been released for Android and it looks like a quality game. I got this info from the developer site here:

Fruit Samurai | Slash Your Way to Victory!

And the app store Link:

There is a version for 2.0+ in the market, worked fine for one test on galaxy S running 2.1 (although it gave me a warning that I may face issue)

Edit: talking about Ninja Kaka , missed that part :P

I just tried them both and both are fun. The Ninja one is a bit more polished, but I like the added challenge of the bombs in the Samurai one.

Just tried the ninja kaka game and its an expensive piece of crap. $4 bux,?? seriously? and it lacks game modes and effects, don't bother with it.

Fruit Samurai seems like more polished and fun game overall but its slow on 1.x devices, only try it if you have a nice snapdragon 2.x device

I downloaded the demo today to give it a shot.

My 2 cents about the game:

1)graphics looked pretty decent
2)game ran smoothly on my Samsung Vibrant
3)Game play, bored the heck out of me the first match. Cute little game but I was already tired of it in 60 seconds. It maybe just me but it had no challenge or point to the game. Although some of the best games have no point, this one just didn't work for. Perhaps the paid version is way better. I uninstall-ed the game with in a matter of minutes.

2 out of 5 stars.

Minimalism is the name of the game for most of the entries in the Top 10. Fruit Ninja, in its simplest form, is an action game is so addictive, you will not want to be little. Imagine your finger like a sword, and slide on the screen makes your avatar ninja iPhone4 bar by falling fruit. Playing it you will have lots of fun.

I'm holding back on buying other similar games (ninja kaka, fruit samurai etc) and wait for fruit ninja as i hear that it's the best. What do others think about their gameplay?

Well, Ninja Kaka has defenitly the best grafics but lacks some gameplay features like bombs etc. It implemented a fruit which when you slice it, it gives you 2 fruit points instead of one ...

Fruit Samurai has aweful grafics but has the "bombs" gameplay feature in it.

Fruit Pirate then is the best of all in my opinion.
The grafics are acceptable and the gameplay is better to.
You can slice 1 fruit 3 times, first time in to 2 pieces and then you can slice those 2 pieces in another 2 pieces.
You can also earn combo's which allow you to slow down time or to demolish a fruit with 1 slice (which means you don't have to slice 3 times, but just once.)

I like all 3 games. But Fruit Pirate surely is the best of all 3 in general.

I concur. I didnt even bother with Samurai. I did DL both kaka and pirate. While Kaka looks better Pirate is much better for gameplay. I prefer the multiple slices option

Does it support the move to SD? The comments say no but an above comment says it can be.

You can when you force it to your SD.

If you've got froyo only, you can't. But there has been a thread on this site to force everything to SD card. something that you'd have to do using the SDK on your PC.

EDIT: Force Apps to install to SD without Root!!

here you go

I've got that work around, and I still cant move it to the SD card. There are certain things/processes/apps that still cant be moved to Sd card even with that work around.

That's why I've uninstalled the game, had to delete the flash player update to get it, its not worth that. I'll wait till they update it

Downloaded the game a few minutes ago....love it except for one thing....Seems like after you pass 200+ the sound efx stop and when you exit, the game's music still plays in the background even after you close out of the game. It happened twice so far on my Epic. Haven't tried to replicate it again.

OK, I tried it again and it did it once I reached 100. On top of that, it's not keeping the high score past that.
