hi,
i suspect that it was some standard linux quake installation. I remember that idsoftware released their first quake3arena demo for linux a week before the windows version. Anyway, they gave all opportunities to run quake 1 (c.q. quakeworld) with the source code of the game. So you will have to compile it yourself with the source code of the original game i guess.
I remember that quake 1 runs acceptable on a P1-75 with 32MB DRAM, so that says something about the G1+android capabilities.
