I went to gameloft's website through the Dinc's default browser and it showed the games that are compatible for the Dinc. Sadly, Modern Combat isn't one of them but Nova, Hero of Sparta and the Golf game work fine.
Strange. When I go there, it tells me there are "no games available for your mobile"

Their site won't show me that one. Maybe it's not compatible with the DX? That's unfortunate because it's seems pretty decent and is probably the only one of their games I'd buy.

Looking further I can see why they aren't in the store. They have NO return policy. When Dungeon Hunter shows up in the store, I'll get it. Until then, they can keep it.
Gameloft seems clueless. Why not sell all of the games on the Android market? They are losing thousands of sales, all due to their stubborn distribution model. Gameloft could be a key driver for commercial game apps and have good games to back it up.
I hope Gameloft execs get a clue (at some point). Unless they like making a lot less money. The amount they lose from an Android market royalty, is an absolute fraction of the revenue they lose not selling in the market.
hey ..
i really need help with something
i just got my android recently
that may sound old :$ but i really hope anyone can help me with that
i downloaded gameloft games and it gave me a message saying "the game needs additional data" is there a file i can download to make it work
thanks in advance
Some games when purchased, only download a small installer. When installed, the installer wants to download a huge file that is the whole game. Usually this file is large enough that the seller prefers you do this over wifi and not cell due to speed and reliability to download a large file. If the game is like 100mb, you probably want to do it via wifi not 3G. This is probably what the game is asking for.

With the daily $.99 specials Gameloft has running the last few days, I don't care about the unfriendly return policy. At these low prices, I've downloaded even 2 games that I'm not entirely enthusiastic about, knowing that I will probably play the games a lot before long.
