FF VII - Works great, no issues that I've seen yet.
FF VIII - Works well, but world map is extremely laggy and slow. Playable if you're patient.
FF IX - Runs fine, but sound glitches in some areas.
Dino Crisis - Works fine, voices are distorted, minor slowdowns in some areas
Mission Impossible - Does not work. Black screen after intro.
Little tip for the "Resident Evil" style games, set R to the camera button on the Droid. It then becomes a lot easier to aim and shoot. The game gripper helps immensely as well.
I'm REALLY hoping that hardware acceleration will show up soon, but I'm pretty happy playing FF VII on my phone. By the way, anyone figure out how changing discs works in the Final Fantasy games?
People should also state what device they are using:
Incredible:
- Raiden II and also Raiden DX plays smooth with sound
- Gunners Heaven same as above
- Dead or Alive plays slow with sound and "tolerable" without
- Crash Racing same as Dead or Alive, but some car models only show the wheels
- Hot Shots Golf plays smooth with sound
I also have a PSX emu on my N900 and games play better on it, due to more graphic tweak options and the keyboard. My N900 uses same chipset as Droid and overclocked to 800mhz.
BTW, a LOT more games will play smooth if or when hardware acceleration is added. N900 is not accelerated either.

Well, this is a first release, so i bet we can expect nothing but speedups and improvements along the way

FF VII - runs fine, minor graphical glitches here and there, does not affect game play Civilization II - Runs fine, no issue found so far Twisted Metal 2 - Loads fine, but requires L2 and R2 to play, so can't test out game playing X-Com UFO: Runs very slow, will freeze on many game menus like "funding" Gran Turisumo 2 - Runs at 50% to 70% speed, but playable. Red Alert - Retaliation - Runs fine, movie sound is screw up if frame rate is set to 30
I am hoping we will get hardware acceleration soon, It will improve game speed, and reduce battery usage. Currently the emulator is killing my battery. can't even make 3.5 hours game play from 100% to dead.

Reason: updated compatibility list
I have tried final fantasy tactics -playable,some slowdowns with game and music at times
Command and conquer gdi disk - mostly playable, slows down from time to time/sound is choppy

FF7: Works really nicely, had it saved as .bin, .iso, and .img. For some reason, only .img worked. This alone makes it worth the 6 bucks.
NFL BLITZ 2000: Loads then freezes at start screen
NFL BLITZ 2001: Plays at around 70% speed with minor sound distortion at 30fps
ACE COMBAT 3: ELECTROSPHERE: Works until you select new game, then screen goes blank. If you keep hitting buttons eventually the mission will load, but as soon as the game starts your plane freaks out and self-destructs every time within 3 seconds.
I'll be trying some more games, but at this point I don't think that my unrooted evo can handle this, and the app needs a bit of polishing up to do. I'll probably return and wait a bit to see if improvements are made.
EDIT: I decided to end up keeping the app since I got FF7 to work really nicely.

FFVII - Like others have said runs great, a few audio/video issues here and there but VERY minor
Parasite Eve - Smooth as silk, but a few audio hiccups
Resident Evil 2 - Couple audio issues, runs smooth though
Crono Cross - Runs slowly at times, still very playable, the menus are kind of hard to see though
Final Fantasy IX - Runs very good, BUT no music in the opening FMV (don't know if all FMV's are like this yet, haven't gotten to another one yet, will update), no graphical glitches at all, seems to rum better than FF7, BUT during fight sequences, the command bar and the hp/mp bars flicker, by no way a deal breaker but it is an annoyance.
EDIT: All EVO users set the screen refresh rate to 30!

I've done the heavy lifting for a compatibility wiki, posting this for everyone's benefit. It's quite the blank slate right now, but with the number of people that will be using this app, we need a robust community to deliver feedback on what works on what. PSX4DROIDCompatibilityList

Final Fantasy VII-Works
Driver 1-Works, choppy audio
Marvel vs Capcom- Works
Discworld -Works
Crash Bandicoot-works, choppy audio
IQ intelligent Qube-Works
Gran Turismo2- works, crazy choppy audio
Resident Evil1-works
Final Doom-Does not work, hangs at "Loading" screen.
I have a boat load of roms to still load, ill post back with an update.
Nightmare Creatures 2 - Works but very low framerate and sound crackles a lot. Unplayable IMO.
Silent Hill - Works with a good framerate but sound is pretty messed up. Also has some annoying graphical glitches(white box around the player) and takes a while to get past the Konami logo. Playable if you're desperate for some portable creepiness
Final Fantasy VII - Works fine except some sound issues. Very playable.
Parasite Eve - Appears to work good except, again, somewhat crackling sound.
In conclusion I'd say that for a first version the emulator is pretty good. Game performance and graphical glitches vary from game to game but sound has been a low point for all the games I've tried.

Resident evil 2... DEMO... works good bit slow and the audio is choppy but its p,ayable.. i figured im not gonna actually finish the full game on here so jus used the demo haha save space :P
Impressive results so far on Incred. “Playable” with no other comment means works well with sound.
American Pool = Playable
Asteroids = Display is squished, but if scaled correctly, would be playable
Bloody Roar = Playable, but 70% speed with sound
Bubble Bobble 2 = Playable
Crash Team Racing = Playable (wow), but some cars only show wheels (not many do, but actually kind of cool)
Dead or Alive = About 50% speed. Even with sound off. This could rock with HW acceleration.
Gunner’s Heaven = Playable
Jimmy White Cueball = Playable
King of Fighters 99 = Playable
Marvel vs Capcom = Playable
Metal Slug X = Goes blank after picking player and locks app up
NBA Showtime = Playable
Pong = Playable
Qix Neo = Playable
Quake 2 = Playable
Raiden Project = Playable
Street Fighter Alpha = Playable
Strikers 1945 = Playable
Tekken 3 = Playable, but 70% speed (some say slower, but not seeing that on Inc)
Tetris X = Playable
Thrill Kill = Playable
Notice the trend here? Most are playable with sound. Hardware acceleration would turn this up a notch Observation: Best device for this will easily be the Epic (fast chipset & keyboard). Wish it were coming to VZW
Sure, Droid 2 is coming, but bigger display love with Epic.

from what ive seen on my evo if there are games that let you change the sound to mono in the settings the sound then becomes perfect with no distortion or anything

Good thinking batman, as at the moment it's probably trying to play both channels through the one speaker. I'll try it on my desire, if any of my games actually allow me to switch to mono that is!

Guys I need help every rom and site i try is worthless please can some one just be kind enought to share where they are getting the roms from and what format they are in and what does the folder need to be named to get them to show up (gba for gameboid games) SO HELP ME
^ They can be in any folder provided you browse to it.
For obvious reasons nobody here can link directly to pirated material. Either rip your own games or Google better BIN and ISO ROMS will work. ECM files will not and need to be converted/ripped correctly..
Rooted HTC Desire
Warzone 2100 Seems to work ok but with no L2 you can't select multiple units.
GTA 1 Works fine
Vigilante 8 Won't load past menus
Vigilante 8 2nd Offense Long load times and then you can't fire weapons due to control limitations.

Google PSX iso and choose the 2nd result.
ISOs need to be in a .bin format and can be located anywhere on your SD card (although I recommend putting them all in a common folder of your choosing).
tried the site you recomended but still won't work if i put them on the sd card in no folder only my sega games show up i click the bios it acts like it wants to run but nothing put the roms in a folder and click the folder it says there are no files available so if anyonecan shoot me a quick walkthrough of where everything needs to go or if i should try a diff bios i have scph1001.bin and maybe i just did things in the wrong order or something please hep i dont want to have just wasted 6 bucks if i can get it to work
