So I've downloaded a couple of games from OmniGSoft. I have played them on my Windows Mobile phone and love them. They are sitting on my SD card becasue I cannot figure out how to open them or run them. HELP!!

How do I run or install apps loaded on my SD card. the program AppInstaller wont work. I need another way. FYI - I am NO programmer. Thanks!

If the games are for Windows mobile I don't see how they can work on G1. The code has to be rewritten/recompiled.

There is an app in the market place that lets you install android apps (not windows mobile apps) from the SD card (forgot the name of it)

Alot of the OmniGsoft games won't work. They were created with an older Android SDK and won't work on the newer one that the G1 uses. Same Problem with Opera Mini and some other older Apps. Sorry to burst your bubble!

They just have to go through and make sure things are set up for android. It takes some time but worth it for them to do.

possibly OmniSoft is waiting for the PAY vehicle to be inplace in the Market place

Thats actualy a really good point. Even only charging $1 for an app is what a lot of these developers are waiting for. I'm sure they're working on them now, but are waiting to make money off of them.

Probably correct, but Omnisoft made some good games for Symbian and WM. Hope its quick.

I would like a nice 3D pool game and a Galaga clone. I am not holding my breath for any emulators so this will do.
