Rovio said they were shooting for this week. I've been ignoring any release dates quoted by anyone... including Rovio.... as they've been wrong for MONTHS now. This game was due to be released in August at the latest. *yawn*

No question...it won't be free!

Let's just hope Rovio gives us a $.99 price point.

Have somebody faced this problem? Or maybe this game isn't suitable for my phone

The only copies floating around at the moment are beta versions, and they are known to be unstable. Many people have had problems with the application on certain Android mobiles.

I believe the QVGA display on your HTC Wildfire is not supported. But Rovio did mention that they are looking into support for QVGA devices for the full version.

some people crack me up moaning cos its not out yet but forget that just one month ago we had not even a beta.i'll certainly be buying it as i think its quality and deserves it.look at fruit ninja to see what can be done on android now.

does anyone know what and how many levels and if they will be releasing any extra packs like the iphone versions?

Complaining about it being 'late' and having to, horror of horrors, PAY for something past the free version is just being a cheap bastard. Excuse my 'French' but I get so tired of people unwilling to shell out a measly dollar or two for a game or app that took someone months and months to make!
I hope these developers come to where you work and tell you to work for FREE!!!

Rock on...

Rovio stated on their twitter that the full release will include every level out currently for the iPhone and will get regular updates.

It's just .99$ on the iPhail, and has many many levels, I think theres like seven seasons with quite a few levels in each. Hopefully they will do like Halfbrick and keep the low price tag unlike those damn dirty Doodle Jump bastards... Didn't even make it the same and still jacked the price up...

Just posted on twitter by developer "The first review of Angry Birds on Android on Pocketgamer.co.uk! The full version is almost here! http://fb.me/ytuBtM3T"

"RovioMobile Angry Birds
@tags2k yes, looking good, should get full version out soon"

I love that the iPhone is a "fail" but you're over here pining for a game that has been on the iOS platform for a long time.

I'm a proud Droid X owner too, so save your flames.

I'll be very happy when the full release is out. I love the beta. Between this and Fruit Ninja, I hope more developers try to port some games over to Android. It really is the only thing that Android is lacking at the moment.

That's pretty weak logic. Games do not make iOS awesome. iOS has more apps because it was out first and gained a lot of market share. There wasn't any competition, so game developers flocked to that platform. Now that android is catching up and will soon take it over, developers are porting their games over.

FYI, when this game was released on webOS, it was $1.99. So they already bumped the price once moving platforms.

Sick thing is, I own this game for my iPod touch, Palm Pre, and I will buy it again for my EVO since I want to play it on the bigger screen.

Hells yeah. It's one of the highest quality games for mobile phones. $0.99 is a steal. Also, the lack of quality games on android means they could hike up the price to $3 and people will probably buy it just the same. I wish I could buy it 3 times just to show my appreciation.

Wish other developers were as on the ball as Rovio. Yeah, Popcap. I'm talking to you.

Amen to that. I love Skyworks games for the Iphone, I with they would start making their games for Droids.
