SWF Player should be getting a virtual pad "soon"
I use SWF Player for Flash games saved to sd card and play them without using the browser. Games that played less than smooth are smooth now. The one killer though is finding games that are touch-only. Found some, but most need some keyboard controls.
The dev is working on a virtual-pad (like Oid and PSX use) that will emulate the usual keys used for most Flash games. This simple addition to the player will add thousands more games that can be played- if you save them to play with the app, of course.
Shame Adobe does not add a virtual pad to their app, so it could be used in the browser.
