Hi guys,

I read this morning that Google and Full Tilt have joined forces to launch a real money poker app for Android.

Does anyone know any more about this or whether there are any other poker apps in the pipeline?

I play cash games at Pokerstars and Purple Lounge and would like to know if I'll be able to use my existing accounts on my phone - or will be forced to switch to Full Tilt!?

Not heard of any other apps planned - but this is disastrous news for Apple.

They've been blocking all real-money gambling apps from the App Store assuming they could get away with it because of their 'monopoly'. When these start to take off, you won't find many sports bettors - or poker players - buying iPhones anymore.

Might force them to open up at last though...

The loss of the Full Tilt Poker apps was a disaster for Android poker players in the United States. I haven't been able to find another since they were forced to close.
