Plants vs zombies?

Hi all

According to the market and copcaps website, plants vs zombies is not available for android PopCap Games - Android. With the look of it, popcap have nothing at all for us.

According to this website, it is available, I would not want to risk the download though! Plants vs Zombies Android Download game v2.4

When will the devs make a leap of faith?

The only PvZ right now is a VERY BAD chinese knockoff.

Popcap says they'll have android games by the end of the year... but honestly I've given up on them.

Try downloading "Leave Devil Alone"
It's basically Plants VS Zombies with a different theme. Oh, the English translation sucks but I think you can live with it..

Just as I was clicking out of this thread I saw an ad at the top for Plants vs. Zombies but didn't see any particulars.

I tried this and it does nothing. Game starts, takes about 5 mins on my Desire to move anything, wait again and then repeat.

did you not see this thread when you created a new one? I've downloaded the version you mention in the OP and it works great - good fun

I got this game. The only thing is, it gets unbelievable hard in just a few levels.

Are people in Korea allowed to sell paid apps on the market? That could be the reason why.

the same company has other apps for sale on the market... I have the full verison and im stuck later in the game after i think 3 bosses. it gets friggin hard fast.

Awesome game, thanks for mentioning it. Soon as I beat the demo levels I bought it - I love a challenging game that is also fun.

Popcap tweeted that have Android games coming up. This is nothing new but at least they're giving us updates

Considering they just launched a new OS that includes Xbox Live integration they have a good shot of quickly having a game portfolio that beats Android. Or you could keep pretending they don't, whichever works for you.

Getting this now. Supposed to be the best thing you can get until the official version is released by popcap.

I just played it. It felt different than the Chinese version I played before. Felt like it had more features. But still pretty bad compared to my iPod Touch version. Uninstalled....

What is the point of Plants vs Zombies? I see a lot of hype, but it looks pretty dumb and uninteresting, but of course I don't know the point of the game.

Downloaded this free when it was the Android App of the Day. Got that and Peggle when they were free - two great games. Plants vs. Zombies is a better fit on Android though, had a few problems with Peggle lagging and graphical errors.
