Downhill Bowling 2 from GameResort (Free, Ad supported)
Just saw this on their Twitter account and tried it out.

Not a bad game to try for free and looks great on my Tab.

Search for either "gameresort" or "downhill bowling 2" on the market. I'm unsure how to get the direct market link at the moment sadly.

Warning: 23mb!!
That is pretty darn cool!!
But even the Droid X has problems processing all the graphics and such. A little glitchy to say the least. But fun!

Thanks for the post, chaz_UK!
I am not sure how to get a direct URL to the Market either, but here are the appbrain links:

Unfortunately I tried downloading it twice on my Droid X and it failed to install each time. Perhaps I'll try again later for a goof.
Update: Several, but not all, apps are not installing correctly at this time. Not sure if it's the Market or my phone.

Thanks for sharing, I'm downloading it right now, and I will report how it works on my Galaxy S.
Edit: It works perfectly smooth on my Galaxy S, I recommend playing this game only on Galaxy S devices, as it seems that some Droid X users have some problems with this game.

Yes it stutters a bit on my Droid X,...not smooth at all and hard to play.

Maybe because only Samsung's Hummingbird processor can handle it, if Droid X stutters, it would be much worst on Snapdragon devices (X10, Desire, Nexus One etc.)

It actually runs perfectly fine on my EVO so I am not sure why it stutters in the Droid X.

Droid X update:
I cleared out quite a few unused apps, re-started my phone and the game seems to play much smoother. Haven't cleared my cache but maybe that would help also(?)

I'm having the same problem with the Evo. It mainly seems to happen with updates though. A work-around someone told me was to go to settings and dismount the SD card, then install the game. If it supports the Apps2SD function, then you can remount your SD card and move the game over to it. For some reason it has a hard time trying to install it do the SD...Not sure what is wrong, but it is very annoying.

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market, from here, click Uninstall updates, that usually solves the problem.

It's not bad for a free game, not played for long though as doodle bowling has the habit of hard crashing my phone.

It plays a bit smoother with the music turned off on my Droid X, but I still have some slowdown on the graphics. This game has huge potential and would be highly addictive with smooth gameplay.

There seems to be an issue with the Droid2/X...(stutters and graphical glitches) we are looking into it.

Thanks for acknowledging that. It really means a lot for us to HEAR you are:
1) Aware of the problem.
2) Taking steps to fix it.
This speaks highly of you.
I had uninstalled the game but will put it back on in hopes of there being an update to fix it. That's a lot of mb just sitting there

Turning off mobile data (3G) before running the game seems to fix the slowdown stuttering problem on my Droid X. The game runs pretty smooth now.
