A very good list. But is there someone who is so nice to recommend several the most interesting ones and introduce briefly. That will be so nice.
It does matter what genre you prefere i could recommend you the MDK, Lost Vikings, Blackthorne or Resident Evil 2 games, but you can find all descriptions for example at mobygames.com

I doubt he truly meant specifically Crysis, but was probably refering to something that stresses your cpu and gpu to the maximum, WITH high resolution graphics like Crysis.
In fact I don't think such a dream is too far away. Maybe a couple years tops.
I just discovered GemRB for android (available on the market), which runs Infinity engine games such as Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, and Icewind Dale. I'm trying to get PT working on my Desire HD, but I have to get the game up and running on my PC properly before I can transfer all the resources over to my DHD. Specifically, I need to apply the widescreen mod, so that it runs 800x480. Will feedback on how I get on with making it work on my android.
In the meantime, here's some footage. Looks a little slow to my eyes, but very playable.

I dont tried it yet, but heard that it is possible by installing Linux Ubuntu on android and then through Wine run Windows programs so you should easily play diablo 2

Hey guys, can I run Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate on a PC emulator for Android or something?
The game is from 1998. I think it would work nicely on a touchscreen since you don't need any extra controls or buttons (like D-pad), all needed actions are at the bottom menu and you could move around the map using the minimap top.
Hey, how about some old SIMS or Pharaoh? Just new to this android scene...enjoying my tab 10.1 so far...
Theres only newer sims 3 recompiled to android so its smaller than the PC version with less things to do and less graphics. As for Pharaoh i think most similar would be Simcity 2000
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Conker's Bad Fur Day (can lag at times)
Goldeneye
Mario Kart 64
Perfect Dark (runs surprisingly smooth)
Rayman 2
South Park Rally
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Super Mario 64
All tested. They all run very smoothly on the latest update.

What you've probably seen is something called Gamestring Adrenalin. They had a video of them playing WoW on an Android device. I got into the beta but couldn't get much to run. Maybe I lacked the technical knowledge, or maybe the program was just garbage.
Their site currently has Homer Simpson Doh!'ing, so perhaps they've given up or were hacked:
It's called Kainy, and although I haven't had much time to fiddle with it, so far I'm impressed. It can stream games from your PC to Android devices, and has highly customizable controls.
And although it still has quite a few kinks, the developer has stated that they're committed to working on improving it. So far they've released quite a few updates and I've seen a fairly decent improvement.
I've wanted a game streaming app ever since Sony dangled Remote Play on the PSP in front of me and then snatched it away. I think this might be the first app that will get it right.

And as for people looking for Doom. I've been looking for a good port for a while now, and someone just pointed me towards this one:
