I just discovered GemRB for android (available on the market), which runs Infinity engine games such as Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, and Icewind Dale. I'm trying to get PT working on my Desire HD, but I have to get the game up and running on my PC properly before I can transfer all the resources over to my DHD. Specifically, I need to apply the widescreen mod, so that it runs 800x480. Will feedback on how I get on with making it work on my android.
In the meantime, here's some footage. Looks a little slow to my eyes, but very playable.

Is this for real? I mean, some of the most amazing games ever made... on a phone? Are the games hard to play on a touch screen and with only a couple of buttons? Other than that, the game is running fine. I read there's going to be a new version of GemRB soon, which might improve the interface and controls a bit. (I hoping it'll resolve my problem with the cut-scenes too.)

You was right games running ok, i add them to list, also i found Heroes of MM 2 port called: Free heroes 2
I found that u can play Starcraft using port of Stratagus engine same as Warcraft2 not best resolution but playable, and there is port of Prehistorik by Interplay avaible on market

Still RA2 still stands as my favourite strategy game to play to this date.

There's also Vendetta Online, but that's not a port, it's the whole version. The users on Android play with users on PC in one universe. But it only works on Tegra 2 Tablets

damn it, so where can be a problem? my display is split to two green screens where i can hardly see distorted game
Maybe it just isn't optimized for the Galaxy phones. Are you rooted? If you are you could try Chainfire3D and set it to use the Qualcomm graphics, then it might play nicely.
I use rooted CM Froyo 2.2, after install Qualcomm it for a while loading and then hangs and get back to android, i think i will must just wait to newer version that will be optimized for more devices

Maybe give the Tegra and PowerVR plugins a try as well.

where you got problem? just download Fpse emulator, install it, and copy psx Bios & FF 8 iso at sd card
