I figured out how to do this. You need to download the gba_bios.bin file and save it to your SD card. Then proceed to get your ROMS and save them to a file you'll remember such as GBA ROMS. Once you have placed all this onto your SD card, disconnect the usb and start up the Gameboid emulator. It's gonna tell you something along the lines of it's not working at to load up the gba_bios.bin file you saved earlier. Download an application named ASTRO and you'll be able to search for the .bin file, start it up, and then you'll be prompted to search for your ROMS you previously installed using ASTRO as well. For other emulators such as SNES, NES, SEGA, etc, all you have to do is download the emulator and save the ROMS to your SD card in any folder you wish, bypassing the need for a .bin file.

Hope this helps

*sigh* this is really sad...

This is one of the most basic of basic task. Anyone who has ANY KNOWLEDGE of emulators should know how to do this.

First you need to find something Called a Bios, downloading this is illegal but no one on this earth cares >.>.

Here is the link http://www.emuparadise.org/biosfiles/gba-bios.zip
extract the file (unzip) and then put the extracted somewhere on your SD card, doesn't really matter where.

Now go to gameboid and it will ask for the bios, navigate to the area where you put the bios on your sdcard and your done.

Now just incase you dont know anything at all.....

To actual add the games to gameboid you need to get the ROMS for the games. To do this you can google search "[insert game name here] rom" or you can use the search rom function built into the gamebroid. You dont have to extract (which is nice). If the game doesn't work then its just because your phone/emulator simply can't handle it.

I'm sorry, your highness, but some of us have never come into a situation where setting up an emulator has been necessary. Next time I'm unable to decipher the steps necessary to complete such a trivial task, I'll be sure to avoid asking questions and instead proceed to run with scissors.

ok everyone by far the easiest way is just google lol you'll need an sd card adapter for your sd card out of your phone
1st step go up to your google search bar type in gba_bios.zip its the very first source on the list but just in case its the site named code.google.com/p/.../downloads/details?...gba_bios.zip..

click on that youll see a box and only one box on that site.. in it says gba_bios.zip a download screen will pop up hit open not save and once the file has opend drag that paper symbol onto your deasktop once you've done so take your sd card out of your phone put in the adapter then click on start and open my computer

once there open your sd card and create a new folder. then drag the gba_bios file from your desktop into the new file you created and there you go put your card back in and open the gba emulator then pick the new file you created and inside the file pick gba_bios.zip and load your roms and have fun!!!!!

You're really sad.

He'd probably left the ROM zipped due to all the ROM modding on Android. In which cases the ROMs are left zipped when you flash. It's not that much of a stupid mistake. Chill yer boots, I'm sure even a genius like yourself had to do it a first time.
