Well, that is true, if you only count I through IX, and XII. Though X and XIII weren't terrible, they just didn't have much replay value. So, the other games could just suck eggs for all I'm concerned.

Give Blue Dragon a try. It has flaws, but the game play is a LOT of fun. Best $10 I've spent in a long time.

I beat that one a long time ago. I felt that a lot of aspects of the game were really corny. And most of the time battles dragged out way too long, at least when you couldn't use the instant-kill force field thingy.
Beats the final sky avatar boss at lvl 70, one skill that I find useful (and no one else seems to mention) is counter magic.
It prevents you from receiving any magical damage and the boss gets the same amount of damage. When dealing with one of the previous bosses where all three has counter magic and the boss does on aoe magic attack, the boss was killed instantly.
I didn't really use Lish's dark magic very much, and Keis is set to courageousness mode after using up all the MP.
Dau died probably 3 or 4 times, and Lish 1 or 2 times.
There isn't any end scene or anything else after this. So what to do next?

That's it. You're done. Unless you skipped the other five bosses to make the Tsupimir or whatever that +5 to all merits ring is called.
Thanks for the suggestion, looks pretty awesome since I'm a long time FF, Star Ocean, Chrono trigger guy. not to go off topic, but are there any games similar to like the old gameboy Zelda as well?
There's nothing similar to the Legend of Zelda games, trust me, otherwise I'd be playing it. If you really want to play those, you can get the SNES or GBA emulators and play Link to the Past or Minish Cap on your phone. There are a lot of action RPGs that have similar elements, like Zenonia or Inotia, but not the "search a dungeon, kill monsters, solve puzzles, find a cool useful item needed to progress" formula that Zelda is known for. Then again.... a lot of games are like that. Metroid, Castlevania, etc. But so far I've only seen one Castlevania clone and it... kinda sucks. Megatroid is a Metroid ripoff, but I haven't played that yet. Anyway, back to topic.
So I'm currently playing through the bonus content but can't seem to find where all to go. I've done the Plant boss, Lethal Weapon, the cave near the dwarves, and I know where the heaven boss is (though haven't managed to beat it yet). Any hints on where the other spots are?
Well, since posting that, I've found Pandora's Box and Fengalm (and updated them on the spreadsheet). Guess all that's left now is somehow to beat the heavens.

I must be blind or something. I can't figure out where else to go in this forest. I just keep wandering around fighting enemies. I don't see anywhere else to go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Nevermind, I am blind. Found it.
I still can't work this one out. If anyone could point me to the exit, I'd be very grateful. Many thanks in advance x

I've been through Zenonia and Inotia... so I might just stick with the FF or Chrono Trigger type rpg games. The sad part is that I'm a big guy on free =P

Sadly, nothing on Android short of the FF ports compare to anything SE has ever done, Chrono Trigger/Cross included. I wouldn't mind see a CT/CC-like game on Android, either. There IS an Android port of Chrono Trigger but it's Japan-only.

Mediocre at best. Crystal Defenders is a great concept, but poor execution. The only other real game they have is Chaos Rings, which has a steep price and has gotten mixed reviews.
The two FF ports are just that. iPhone ports where you can expect letter boxing. The games themselves are top notch, but I'm iffy about buying them on android.

Speak, and you shall receive. Chrono Trigger was released for the US market on the Play Store yesterday. It has the couple of extras from the DS version, as well:

The reviews and photos are discouraging. I felt the same way about the Android port of Final Fantasy, especially the controls. I'm glad to see they at least finally released it here. I'll wait for some updates and maybe a drop in price before I get it.
It looks interesting. Might check it out when I get my new S3 in some weeks.

The map should have an indicator to point you to where to go. I believe you need to go to the big island in the sky where you couldn't land before. The force field should be gone.

Was thinking of getting either Knight of Earthends or Eve of Genesis. Final Fantasy III looks interesting, but the asking price is kind of high.
Am asking here since I wanted to get the opinion of people who love SOE.
Eve of Genesis > SoE in my opinion. It is much more polished and I prefer the method of handling skills. It is a fantastic game.
FF3 would be worth the money if it was a quality port. It is a full fledged DS game which takes 40+ hours to complete. If it scaled correctly, instead of letterboxing with black bars, I would recommend it.
Other game out is Chrono Trigger, which also is worth money but doesn't scale right, and Kingturn RPG Plus, which is a fun tactics game.

Can someone tell me the location of the Holy Priest Tablet? I know its supposed to be somewhere near the dwarf village, but I've searched almost everywhere and I can't find it.

Then you didn't check everywhere. I haven't played this game in like 6 months, but I remember how linear it is. Check your map. It always shows any secret rooms, even if you can't see it. The map is how you find everything.

Thanks Eve of Genesis it is than. I can imagine in a few months, I will play this game from scratch again.

Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger scale just fine on my phone. I just wish they could have updated CT's graphics a bit.
Just killed the dwarven cave endboss at last. Of course this time I forgot to steal Orlov from him. What does it do?
The Orlov grants 1.5x experience for enemy kills. There are a couple of other accessories that do similar things for gold (Lapis Lazuli) and TP (Draupnir).
Done with Symphony - 5 stars in my book
On recommendation on this thread I got and am done with Eve of Genesis - 4.5 stars.
I have Chaos Ring, and completed two characters stories, I don't think I want to go through the last two - 4 stars
So, how do Symphony fans feel about Knight of Earthends... or should I bit the bullet and go with FFIII or FF Dimensions?
Finally completed the main story, at lever 45 or something like that, after 14h 58m 21s. Not single character death, game was well balanced, but simply too easy in some aspects, especially boss fights. With proper combinations of healing and attacking you can easily beat all bosses. I had more trouble with ordinary monsters. I never found tablets for dark magic, and I never found some other tablets. I had no need to craft the strongest weapons. I have absolutely no interest in defeating these special bosses because it just gives me extra item, tho I'd like to know how to gain access to hidden places, since all I have is a new game with or without using the old save. Story itself is nothing special, yet interesting, characters although cliche from time to time are nice, I adored Lish and Kreist, Dau was always funny. I don't really understand all the complaints about map view, yes a bit tiny, but functional. So I give this game 4,5 out of 5, good game, kept me without sleep...

FF Dimensions is fun so far, I'm on Chapter 2 and it hasn't disappointed yet. Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy III and V.
