Default nesoid lite vs nesoid paid apps

ok so as the topic says what is the difference in nesoid lite and nesoid paid app? are the controls/buttons any better on the paid app? it seems kind of hard to get used to them on the lite version. It seems like all you can really play are RPG and not action (what they called action games back then )

what is all your guys takes on this?

I think the paid apps allow for saving. Either the save state or the save function in the game. So i dont think its worth getting the free version to play RPGs just to not be able to save it.

yea i hear you. Just my opnion BUT when i got an android phone i got it because of the free apps. If i wanted to pay or show sppreciation i would have kept the palm pre or just gotten the iphone but i like the whole open market free app side of android. I guess there are otheres that feel different or maybe im bein cheap but thats just me lol

either way i just bought the nesoid paid version so i guess i showed my appreciation anyway

Controls are exactly the same on free and paid. They do take some time to get used to.

The paid version allows you to save the state of the rom and is different than a save feature within the games. You can save any game at any time, even games that don't have a save feature built into them.

I hear ya....the controls are near impossible on the Hero with the touch screen. Very frustrating, indeed.

Great app...I just wish it controlled better for us touch screen users....maybe if it had some sort of calibration tool built in....?

even with the moment its trickey because the movement controls are on the right and buttons on the left....exactly opposite of what im used to with video games...guess ill just stick to the RPGs that dont require quick movements

There's an option in the settings to turn the screen upside down so the controls are on the correct side.

So....if I understand you correctly.....with the lite version I would have to use the 'default' way for saving, ie: save points etc, but....

with the paid version, I can use save states, like the zsnes emulators.

Is this ^ right?

Correct, save states are only available on the paid version. I guess I can't say for sure whether in game save points work or not as I've never used them but I would think they should.
