Yeah, it was fun for a bit. I played the Chrome version about halfway through, and liked it much more than the app version. That one got old, too. About an hour, and I was done.

It's a neat litte game but nothing more, I actually thought Destroy The Castle was a better game, I completed that but got bored of Angry Birds very quickly.
I don't hate Angry Birds though, but I don't like it either.

Nah. Still a fun game, but not one I go to every day. It's a game I'll pick up every couple of months, play a few levels, then never touch it again. My nieces love it. Maybe it's a kid's game at heart.

I don't hate Angry Birds, I don't love it either. The in game ads constantly block your view. I don't like how much luck is involved in getting high scores. I feel like I'm repeating the same shots over and over until the game decides to give me a break. Maybe it's just the gamer in me, but it feels cheap.

I liked Angry Birds at first when it was released on iOS, got bored of it and tried to get back into it and I hated it after that.
Since the release of Angry Birds Space though, I have started enjoying it again. Space has a little twist in it, bit the same concept as to defeating those green little piggies! Also I like the how the Birds looks now along with some of their new abilities, which is only the yellow bird (now its purple) who really has a new ability, the others are no different except their cosmetics.
If you were to play Angry Birds, I would suggest to just get Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Seasons (for the old original feel of angry birds, but it is supported highly due to new stages coming out for every holiday)

I'm not an Angry Bird hater per se, but I'm not a huge fan either. I have been trying other shooters, and to be honest, I loved "Shoot the Apple" more than I liked Angry Birds.

My original post was for giving people the chance to post in here instead of ruining the Angry Bird Seasons(Christmas) thread I started. I neither love nor hate AB. I play it only occasionally now but know I will always like the daily new level at Christmas time.

I've played it a few times when I've been bored on a train. Not my cup of tea, but I can understand why it's popular with people who don't play games. Simple, quick, re-playable.

The reason people don't like Angry Birds, is because so many other game developer copied it. They've dragged the game-play into the ground.

just be glad it's free and not 25 cents per play like the old Pac-Man was back in the day :P seriously it's pretty much the same game. tons of product placement, merchandise, and it's all the rage. and iirc Pac-Man was pretty repetitive too. maze, dots, ghosts, yawn after ten thousand quarters!
I grew up in the 80s. Angry Birds is like the new Pac-man. both stupid games with a simple premise, all the levels are about the same, and it's just as popular. the only difference is the pigs can't eat you, and you don't get that neat looking level 256 crash that Pac-Man gets

Angry Birds Star Wars has revitalised my interest in Angry Birds. Before the star wars edition came out, I was as bored of it as anyone could be. Of course, it could just be my love for star wars :P

People like it because you can grab it and play, no explanations required.
But replay value is not good, and frankly not very creative or groundbreaking.
It was just a fad that was timed right, the first real popular game showcased on iPad and the first androids. Nothing more, nothing less.

It was fun at first but it really does get boring after a while. The themed ones also get a bit interesting but then the novelty dies down fast. Deleted.

I always hope that it will have more puzzle solving than it actually does. It seems to me that although fun, you can complete levels without too much thought.
