While I know they're not related in any way, I'm curious to know if this game, plus Paper Monsters and that Jazz: Trump's Journey (or is it Adventure?) game will ever come to Android. I mean, I have an iPod Touch I can play them on, but I'd kinda rather have them on my phone.

They said in their Facebook page that the release date of the 9th is not for real.

nonono. I think It was real + Planned, but they had troubles since its their first app for android.

Anyone tried running Fred? Looks good, might be a good substitute for temple run. Doesn't work on my ICS running desire HD! I think it's not ics compatible.

i played it on the iphone and ipad before. i just downloaded it to my evo 4g and it's a little choppy and has delayed responses that seem to vary... pretty much unplayable at this point, i'll wait for the upgrade.

pretty disappointed because i like the game a lot.

anyone else able to compare it to the apple version? i'm curious to see if it's just me.

The google play version, if it isnt compatible w/ your device, try the V6 version.
Note TR for v6,v7 are pretty buggy ..

I agree, I was looking forward to it as an iFriend had been raving about it for ages. There was a fair bit of "buzz" about it on here too.

Evo 4G has a weak graphics processor, even when it was released it was pretty average.

Time for an upgrade.

Yep, Temple Run should run fine on anything with Adreno 205, PowerVR SGX535, Tegra 2 or better.

Evo 4G uses Adreno 200 as used on the first HTC Desire and Nexus One which was a never a good performer and is now showing how poor it was.

There is no leader board so most of the fun is missing. The iOS version has leaderboards and a line showing, in game, when you overtake your friends score.

The game is still fun, it is a great example of the "just one more round" type of game. The games go by fairly quickly, and restarting is a breeze.

Ya played it yesterday to. But it is not as good as in the iPhone, may be because of the screen quality & touch !!!

To be frank, its fun playing in iphone only :P

Honestly, I'm just trying to catch my friend's score of 28million when I downloaded this, and so far after 10 rounds I'm like, WTF 28million is hard! So the challenge got me. Its the part of the hype, trying to overtake your friends.

I love this game on my iPhone but on my SGS2 its just not as responsive.
For instance, when you tilt on the iphone it's smooth yet with the SGS2 he's either left right or in the middle and nowhere inbetween.

Game runs great on my ReZound. Never played it on iCrap, but it seems to run flawlessly on Android. Not sure how to use Resurrect...I bought two to make a deep run but as soon as I die my game is over.
Don't really see the point of the Invisibility either, doesn't help that much. Love the magnet and boost.
Thinking of erasing game info and restarting from scratch...maybe change my upgrade order.
No clue how people are getting these ridiculous scores. My best is 120,020! Longest run is only 2,136! Only been playing a couple days, so I guess I'll improve.

You need to double tap on the screen to use resurrect.. Also if you have 2 of them you can only use the second one after you've run another 1000m after using the first one..
Achieving objectives also increases your multiplier and makes it easier to score points..
