Email then and tell them.
With the 2.1 update out soon and the fact that it is being deployed to almost all android phones, they may now feel it is worth the effort and that here is a new rapidly growing market.

Go go, email now!

here --> Rovio - Angry Bird developers

Wink Angry Birds on Android?

I did just that and here is the response from Rovio:

"We're currently looking into the possibility of developing an Android
version of Angry Birds. Nothing is confirmed yet as we have no Android
development experience. Hopefully in the not to distance future we'll bring
Angry Birds to the Android platform, especially after the success of Angry
Birds on the iPhone. So I guess the answer to your question at this point is
"maybe".

Kind Regards,

Matthew Wilson
Marketing Manager
Rovio Mobile"

Seems like positive news. Also seems like an opportunity for some android developers to drop a line to Rovio and offer up some services. If they are looking to implement an android team it could be worth more than a few bucks to anyone involved....

Cant wait to waste away my train travelling time with those Angry little Birds!!!

Tell them to produce it in Flash for Android 2.2!!

PopCap games are likely to announce that they're going to support Android properly very soon, and I presume they're waiting until they have a range of games as against just one or two. I'd imagine games like Chuzzle and PvZ will be some of the first.

Angry Birds coming to Android this summer | Angry Birds news | Pocket Gamer

Quote:
Addictive iPhone bird-flinger Angry Birds will be catapulted onto Android handsets this Summer, developer Rovio confirmed to Pocket Gamer.

It's part of the developer's plans to bring the physics based puzzler to even more devices this year, including the Android Smartphone.

I have Angry Birds on my N900. Wish it was on my Inc too, since I use the Inc as my phone and the N900 as a media player (have my Inc with me more).

The post above appears to contradict this, since the email suggests they have to put a team together to do it and are still looking in on it.

Strange, but good if true

This game is sort of similar to Angry Birds, I think it's great, and there is a free demo version on the market, Blow Up

Blow Up for Android
