Ok, i may have found one people may enjoy. 00011 is still the most effective i have found, but i know people are looking for an elite missle mix code. The 2 best i have tested with so far posted are 63830 (posted above) and 30205 (posted earlier).

I found 61412 which has similar range, power and speed to 30205, but costs only 38.

Like i said, it still doesn't compare to 00011, but for those missile lovers out there, i think 61412 is the best i have found.

Let me know your thoughts.

Default another good one

So here is another good one. IMO its a very close second to 00011.

Code: 07546

The guns only cost $8 and have the same range and same speed as 00011. They are a bit weaker but still insanely effective. The upgrades cost 7 and 10 respectively, and work great... slightly less epic than 00011

The big thing i like about this code is the epicness of the slow towers. Crazy effective and crazy good range. They cost 17, but are very much worth it especially on higher levels. I'm currently on 750 and my guns have +42 power.

00011 is still king, but this code is a fun one to play with (plus i discovered it so i'm partial to it).

I downloaded that briefly and returned it. That's the sort of TD game where the enemies walk down a set path and you have certain spots where you can place towers, right? It seems to me to be more fun to get to make your own path.


Anyways, I'm pretty close to beating survivor mode.. I think I've got up to ~level 87 on survivor. I just checked this thread to see what everyone was talking about and apparently the 'new game mode' mentioned in the achievement section is pretty cool!

Default Maps for Robo Defense

Love the game and yes, it's very very very addictive ..

I read the whole thread and downloaded the maps that Finndo77 made.. Had some time on my hands so made some improvements with conditional formatting and also put some of my map layouts in there because I noticed that I have a couple of different strategies than the ones that were posted here..

Anyways, hope you enjoy the maps and have fun playing the game!

No need, last time I checked the full version was improved to import your stats from the free one now. I'd leave the free one installed until after installing the full version.

hello hello Sir,

I am a Singapore android customer using Samsung galaxy ace, I am
finding a problem when I am trying to buy 'Robo defense' full version
from android market.
When I add all the credit card details along with the address and
phone number and press SAVE, I am getting an error that 'Invalid
Address' and cursor getting red on 1st line of address.
I have tried everything in that 1st line of address with all
characters, all numbers, no special symbols etc but all the same
error.
Please let me know how to get rid of this error to buy the game.

Default Getting Eagle Scout With Free Version

Hi All,

Want to really challenge yourself?

With the free version, I just earned "Eagle Scout" on Survival Mode. I have about 90% of the available unlocks in free mode and up to level 3 on all the equipment. I thought it to be impossible since getting "Boy Scout" was very hard, but I found a tactic that eventually solved my problems.

Now I shall go buy this wonderful game and quite torturing myself with inferior equipment. hehe...

Hi. My name is.eric and I'm new to the forum. But I just wanted to show you my upgrades. Well not show but type in... so here it goes...
Stronger bullets level 53
Stronger explosive level 51
Faster rocket reload level 55
Faster artillery reload level 58
Fast antiair level 56
longer flame level 60
Longer slowdown level 56
Health reward level 62
Starting cash level 57

Everything unlocked. No cheats. I got this far in a week. If you would like to know how to upgrade this much this fast. PM me. Im not sure if it works for everyone but it works on my inspire and my freinds incredible 2. Maybe it only works on HTC phones. I guess we will find out.

Default Effective Rocket Tower Code: 61010

IMHO, not as strong as the cannon oriented 00011 code, but I was able to repeatedly beat Survival Mode using this code with 0 losses.

Also: 40030 is a strong rocket oriented tower code.

Hi, new to the droid platform for phones. Finding Robo Defense late because of that as well, but a nice discovery. Fortunately for me, MOST of the bugs that make the game frustrating have been removed, so I was unable to experience the headaches veterans have had.

Played the game now for about 1 week and already achieved all 86 bonuses, and unfortunately discovered a new bug and ruined the game for me. Didn't realize it because I first discovered it while going to bed ( I play one game to fall asleep - how addicted am I? LOL!) While upgrading I found the glitch. It never subtracted the reward points for the upgrades and I just kept clicking them thinking I had more than I did, until the limit was higher than my current Reward points. The circumstances of that glitch I will not post, as not to ruin it for others, or provide a new cheat for people that don't want to learn. IF the dev. wants I will provide to them.

Running Android 2.2 on Samsung Galaxy 5 (Europa) GT-I5500L
Robo Defense installed on SD.

So far strategy for me has used only half of the map. I will attempt to post pictures in my next post for strategies. Most if not all maps I have had perfect games, all the way now to Level 550, this may seriously be due to the glitch. Current Upgrade stats:

Bullets - 49
Stronger Explosives - 47
Faster Rocket Reload - 49
Faster Antiair Reload - 53
Faster Artillery Reload - 51

Thanks for that, I understood that and have tried that as well. We shall see if it really is a big enough deal for them to fix. It may just be specific to my particular phone type and setup, not android in general, so may not be possible on other platforms. I was commenting in general, and hoping that by exposing the new bug possibility, others would attempt and post success or fail, indicating widespread bug, or just specific.

Tongue Bear Grylls In Survival Free Version

Okay folks, I am a sick, sick man.

After earning Eagle Scout in survival using the free version of the game, I have now earned Bear Grylls. This was extremely difficult, I must admit. And I had to deploy nearly every trick in the book to do so. I actually ended on level 45 but should have made it to 46 had I not made a few mistakes.

I now have a total of 39 achievements in the free mode including Powered Up (12 towers only), Crazy Saver (collect $5000), Great Game (500,000+ points in a game), and Super Powered (finish a map perfectly w/ 12 or fewer towers).

Keep in mind that I have these all with level 2 upgrades and many of the unlocks. Earlier I incorrectly stated that I had level 3 but I misread the screen as that is the next level I can buy.

I also have the "Complete Difficulty 11" achievement even though the Free Version only goes to level 10. There is bug that allows for this. Just after you complete level 10, do the options to start a new game and it goes to 11 instead of exiting to the title to start a new game. This same trick doesn't work for level 12.

Okay, now I am really going to buy the game... I mean it this time.

I wouldn't call you sick. Just addicted to the point of obsession, and one heck of a good strategist. My question is: how many levels were you able to get perfect games on with those upgrades?

I reset my game completely back to zero, since I have now found MANY bugs that I sent to the developer. My best was level 7. Level 8 I have yet to devise a strategy to get perfect with only level 2 upgrades.

Build a maze with two paths. When enemies get close to one end, close it off. They'll run back through your maze.

The ground units are easy to defeat, many times in this thread it is mentioned, it is surviving that wave 98 or 99 ALL jets that randomly appears on the one time you go short on rockets or slow down the middle, because you have not gotten hit really hard.

But congrats to you, I cannot even remember playing those levels any more, and I doubt I made perfect at all. I seem to remember I did not get my first perfect until I was around level 30 or 40 AND went back to level 20 to get the achievement. It might have been around level 40 or 50 even...

This is still a great game, although when I want to play tower defense, I find myself trying to beat Empire Defense or Field Runners these days... Both I think are harder than Robo, with obvious similarities (surprised we don't have law suits on these titles!)

Here's some tips on how I got perfect on Level 10 & 11 used the free version (assuming level 2 towers and many unlocks):

+ Immediately build downwards with machine guns. Don't upgrade the machine guns -- it's a waste. A lot of people also make a mistake of trying to place a missile launcher too quickly here.
+ Once you build as far down as possible while still allowing a path, now build back up also using machine gun all the way to the top. Make sure though there there is just a one space gap for the enemy to come up through. This means the vertical column won't be perfectly straight.
+ Now, working your way down again on the third vertical column with more machine guns, finally place a rocket launcher about 40%-50% the way down. However, make sure to place another machine gun exactly where the planes fly over. You'll upgrade those later to anti-air cannons.
+ Now try to get a slow tower somewhere in range of the rocket launcher's missile so it can pay dividends. The first few tanks will be your biggest concern at this point.
+ Accumulate money and try to upgrade your rocket launcher once or twice.
+ Accumulate more money, and then build a teleporter two spots left of the screen's exit. Yes, far right on the screen about two grids left. This is in case 1-2 choppers come.
+ Next, try to replace some machine guns with rocket launchers and slow towers as well as adding more vertical columns. Try to squeeze in an anti-air or two as well and a second teleporter next to the one you already built.
+ Eventually you will build 6-7 vertical columns and then with the rest of the available area, you want to start building horizontally. Experiment here.
+ Try to add a few more teleports next to the ones you've already build. I usually have four in a row for level 10/11.
+ Keep in mind that whatever you build near the end, you want to have a final exit path where the ground troops and the planes all have to go through the teleports. These are your fail-safes!
+ I also add one mine right before the teleport entrance area. Very effective against pesky cars.
+ Eventually you'll add in some mortars/arty and some anti-air missiles. Flamers are okay, I guess.

So the general idea is start with a vertical maze and then make a horizontal maze. The initial vertical maze is primarily for the ground troops. the design allows many towers to hit targets on both sides of the columns. The final horizontal portion is primarily for air (and the pesky cars). Hit the air hard with anti-air missiles and anti-air cannons, and when you get overwhelmed, have the teleporters send them back through.

Trying to find the balance of how to upgrade your maze is the fun part. Do you upgrade for ground units or air with each passing level? Do you make the maze longer or upgrade the units? Again, experiment. I can get perfect nearly a 100% of the time with this technique. I could attach a picture of this technique, but I think that would be giving away too much and would ruin the fun for you.

Finally, as someone suggested, earlier on in this design you may need to block the normal route with a machine gun and open up an alternative route to turn the bastards around so they suffer more damage. But you shouldn't have to do that too much with this design. In survivor mode, I have to use this trick a lot more but I use a different map design.

If you go through the previous posts, this sounds like more than one of the maps that have already been posted, and what I've been doing for the last 1500 or so difficulty levels (except when I am having fun, then I try to beat every map with the fewest number of towers, that makes it interesting. Try beating a map with 5 towers, on the hardest difficulty available to you.

hey guys, thanks for the tips, I have read the forum, the entire listing for RoboDefense, and I got the idea, plus I have a good strategy as well. The fun part for me were finding the algorithms that determine what is sent at you based on what is already on the map and where.

For instance: build a rocket launcher too early and 2-6 helicopters come out by wave 13-18. or don't build any rocket launcher until wave 22 and no air comes out. Not 100% perfectly sure on these but out of 100 games or so, 94 of them follow this pattern. There are also different random predetermined "launches" or patterns for the start of a new game.

The true point is: its a fun game for a lot of people for whatever reasons they have. For me it was a new game that is similar to others I have played and liked. It has its own luster and gleam; shadows and frustrations. But a good, well thought out game that passes the time.

Hey I'm new to the post but am absolutely hooked on robo defense and want some fun new ways to play. So... one question, one comment:

You are mentioning rocket codes and stuff - how/where do you enter those in? Sorry to sound like a total noob, but I am super curious.

Has anyone found and defeated the titan? I did, I think it was on like level 40+ something in the courtyard. But now I never see him again. It was cool to have a new invader to defend against and I think they should update the game with either more titans scattered throughout or new characters to play against.

I believe the Titan only comes out if you have a perfect game going (no lost health) and at least for me, I think he always comes out on level 79.

All it represents is a lack of getting ahead in real life. FWIW, I deleted the game on accident from my phone and when I reinstalled it didn't retain my awards. I'm back to the beginning now and will never get to that point again now that they've fixed the bugs.

There have been changes to the Titan over various versions of this game, when I first got it, march 2010, I found the titan on wave 49 or 60 something (I think it is on one of the first 3 pages of this topic) on a fairly low difficulty and I was at 18 out of 20 health, since then it has become known that the titan appears when health is full and the bonus is at 118 (I think it is) on a specific wave number. I am too lazy to dig through the posts here to figure which it was, and I have not played more than 3 games in the last 4 months, as I am at a point where laying out 6-10 towers and putting the game in fast forward wins for me. So I have been playing alternate tower games, most not as good, some nearly identical, still others more fun, but for different reasons. And beyond that I have been playing fewer games on my android devices over all.

anyone have advice on strategies for setting up your maze on the Courtyard level? I will dig, but also thought I'd throw this out there for those who want to weigh in.

Try pages 7 or 8, I posted some maps, but I'll briefly describe it here as what I like to do now may not be the same as before...

from here, just upgrade as needed (anti-air/SAM missiles/mortars) as needed, if you have to use the reverse snake method, there is a single gun turret on the left and right side of the screen that you can remove and add another right next to it to keep the ground units roaming back and forth. sometimes your upgrades are not adequate and the jets can fly through top to bottom, or bottom to top. you will nee to put an additional slow tower in the dead center position to stop them. (and major SAM missiles too!) you can add missiles in the center of the courtyard by replacing turrets, these will/should be able to reach the left and right side flying units a little as well as covering the center channel.

sorry the difficulty level is so low in this image (I am over 2000 on my tablet), I have been playing on a different device, and the screen shot app only captures blank black screens on my tablet. so this is off my phone which I stopped playing on 4 or 5 months ago.

That is *awesome*. Thank you!! My mazes are good on all the other levels, but the courtyard is tricky with the guys coming from both top and bottom.

Default point in upgrading once in tower mix mode?

Is there any point in upgrading levels of "stronger bullets" with reward points if using 00011 in Tower Mix mode? Is it possible for the gun towers to get any more powerful than they already are?

I've been playing the TMM 00011 and would say yes. I've been upgrading bullets whenever I can and am now up to level 54 on the "stronger bullets."

I just upgraded to level 55 bullet strength and the game definitely got easier using the exact same layout.

Thanks. Yea I tried it out myself, saved up and upgraded bullets 4 or 5 levels at one time, (up to 44) and tried same layout on survival courtyard (just filling entire inside with guns, with open perimeter), got to wave 89 before, and to 95 I think it was, after...

I get perfect scores on in survival mode, and am 50% perfect in basic mode. You do not build the same guns in survival mode as in basic.

Had something odd happen today while playing RoboDefense. In the past, Titan always showed up at level 79 but only when I had a perfect game going. (Hadn't lost any hearts) Well, today when I was playing, when I got to level 79, no Titan. So I looked at my hearts and noticed I had lost one. I didn't know I was one down so it must have slipped past when I wasn't looking. It had to have slipped out very early in the game because my bonus level was up around the 250's. Since I was so far into the game I continued. (When I loose a heart early, I generally restart because I hate not getting the million+ "perfect game" bonus.) Anyway, I played on down one heart, and surprise.... Titan showed up on level 86 or 89.... Can't remember for sure, I was so suprised because Titan had NEVER shown up in any game on level other than 79, and then only when a perfect game was in progress. I have continued playing some other games down one heart but only when I lost the hearts at higher levels... like in the 50's or higher. On those games, Titan never showed....

I'm playing the game on a Droid X. Has this happened to anyone else? Does Titan only ever show up on another level other than 79 during perfect games?

I've found the titan twice actually, once on lvl. 60 basic map, and once on lvl. 100 basic map. Yesterday something really weird happened too.. I went to spend my 3,000,000ish points on the mine tower unlock but then when I unlocked it, my points didn't go away. So I bought something else and my points still didn't go away. So I upgraded everything until it cost more than 3 Mil per upgrade. Then when I played the game again it just added to my 3 Mil and let me keep on spending. Unfortunatly today the glitch is gone, anyone else had this happen???

Question Search for the most efficient tower...

Hello there,
I'm new to the game but starting to learn quickly. Looked to the game set-up and I read some strategy guides which explained the game somewhat more.

I figered out, it would be more wise to invest in explosives upgrades (+10%) than it would be on bullet upgrades (only +1%). Assuming rockets are already more powerful than bullets and 10 explosive upgrades give me +100% and 10 bullet upgrades give me only +10%. So I mostly use rocket towers (only use gun towers in temporary positions) and invest in explosives and 'reload'.

What I'm trying to find out is, how can I do the most damage for the lowest cost per tower. Right now I mostly just place an additional rocket tower (which cost me one placeholder and 20$) before choosing to upgrade (which cost me 30$ for medium or even 50$ for a mortar)

So besides the point I that need to invest in air defense and that one cannot do without a proper mace, I currently rather place 7 rocket towers -if I have the space to place them- than one artillery tower.
Is this the right tactic? Or does one artillery tower causes far more damage -to ground troops- than seven rocket towers?

Has anyone found out the "cost-damage per placeholder"-ratio for explosive based towers?
It should be something like: ( range x power x speed ) / total cost

Anyone made this calulation for the diverse towers yet?

Dirkbonn, having a perfect game is not the tricker to enlease the Titan. it appears when you have 78 levels played without any loss. So if you have lost a lives at level 20 but you managed to keep the intruders away since then, the Titan will prabable appear in level 99.
