You have got to me kidding me. My whole plan was to stop playing this game after I reached 1000 and take like a 4 month break. What's next? 10,000?
Congrats on breaking the 1000 mark though. I definitely thought i'd have more time to get to that point but i've had to work Saturday and today which slowed me down tremendously.
And I know what you are saying about having to watch every single level to make sure everything is in order. I beat 950 now and only lost 16 guys. Still haven't been any where close to seeing a titan since maybe the early 700's.
They really need to advise on how many levels there actually are in this game.

I sent an email to the developer asking if there is an end. I'll let you know if he replies.
How do you get past level 100? My game ends at 100....
Assuming you're talking about level zero, by winning that level you've now unlocked the next 10 levels. When you start a new game just toggle up to level 10 and give it a try.
Are you playing with the free version? That one might end at 100.

I also get a teleport built early in the game to catch the first helicopters.
So, I've tried building and arming teleports in the flight path and I've yet to see one work on anything but land units. Is there a trick to make teleports work on fliers?

The only way teleports work on flying units is if they are in the center of the map where the units fly. As long as they fly right over it, it will teleport them back to the beginning. This becomes a necessity in the later levels so i'd get used to using them and reloading them quickly.
My paid version of the game has developed a problem saving games. Saving once worked without fail. If I press "Menu" during a game and then press "Save and Quit" when I resume the game is a new game rather than the point where I saved. It seems if I just press the "Back" button or "Home" it saves my game and allows me to resume. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? BTW, I am running on a G1 with version 1.6 of Android.

How do you get teleports. Are those the units that slow down the invading armies? I have never seen one teleport back to the beginning. I do have the free version of robo defense.

I honestly have never used the Save and Quit option in Robo Defense. I used to use the back button and returned to my game when I needed and only rarely was there an issue. I've started hitting the home key now and I haven't seen an error since. Might want to just go with that method.
I just killed the Titan at on VR A0003 at level 51-79, that was no big deal. Why even both, hes slow and weak. They need to update this game and make harder enemies. And an END would be nice. After reading all these posts, this game seems endless with all the different hardness levels and the VR levels as well.
Great game!!!

Don't worry about the difficulty of the game. If you keep playing and get yourself up into the 500 plus levels, you'll have plenty of a challenge keeping those jeeps and fighters under control
There has to be some kind of limit due to space limitations set by the developers in the coding.
Can't they just make the max level by like 2,000 or something attainable and have everything be a titan?
Not necessarily. I doubt they went in and made each level one by one. Rather they probably just plug the level number into some formula to determine the number of units and their health for each level. If this is how the game was made, I don't see how it would ever end......
A 32 bit signed integer can hold base 10 values from −2,147,483,648 to +2,147,483,647. If they made the level counter unsigned, it would go all the way to +4,294,967,295. So my bet is either one of those numbers is the highest attainable level.
If you could play one game a second, nonstop, it would take you about 63 years to get through 2 billion levels.

Just completed level 1010 and got a perfect game. I got lucky that they didn't send a mass wave of all fighter jets because I wouldn't have been able to take that out. I had 5100 money left over and got over 55M points for that one game.
I did however notice a flaw in the system still referring to money some times showing as negative. When my points were accumulating for that game and they were adding them all up, the total amount of points was going back and forth between positive and negative signs. Don't think it caused any issues though.
To get the titan to come out you need to have a bonus of 134. You can get your bonus that high by not letting any fighters get by and also by completing achievements.
I have reached a point of utter frustration with this game! I'm at 50 achievements (minor problem: how does one save up $5000???), and have everything upgraded between 25 and 28. Mines and Teleport tower are unlocked.
I have worked through Basic, Factory, and Ruins up to level 120, and now I'm working on the Courtyard layout. My major problem: I cannot get past 60. I have tried various arrangements and combinations of defenses, but am getting no where.
Absolutely love this game, totally addicted. Just completed all achievements. Here is my list of improvements -
1) Some way to communicate issues to the developers at Lupis
2) Some kind of response from Lupis on ANY of the issues raised by loyal users
3) PC version of the game (I'd buy it in a heart beat)
4) Additional game fields and new opponents (again I'd pay)
I defeated him too first time was lvl 70 wave 79 lvl bonus 123. Second time was lvl 80 wave 79 bonus was 127. So that proves bonus 134 isn't required to fight him.
If you're somewhat close to $5000 and you're near level 100, you can go on a selling spree to try and get there. If you know there won't be any air dudes coming at you, sell all your SAMs that don't affect the path of the ground units (or sell them and quickly replace them with the $5 guns so the units don't take the short path through your towers). You don't have to end the game with $5000, you just have to break $5000 somewhere along the way.
So I'm pretty new to this game and just finished Level 0 and am now on Level 1. However level 1 seems to be a lot harder than level 0... any ideas for some good strategies and tricks? Thanks!
got the titan in basic map level 25 wave 100, with a 109 bonus at the timealso got the great game achievement right before I saw the titan defeated message, on the same wave, missed actually seeing the titan
I laughed when I saw this thread! I find this game addicting as well. I drive my wife nutts with this game. The funny thing is I haven't bought the full version yet :P
First, I got all my achievements with minimal upgrades. I was at level 17 for most upgrades when I completed the 57 achievements. I had $75 million in the bank.
Then I spent all my upgrade funds and just defeated one difficulty level at a time, and got up to level 360. I would have a perfect game about 25% of the time, but usually lost 3-8 lives--mostly because I wasn't paying attention or was in fast mode.
Then I decided to see how far I could go, keep my main upgrades at 42 and starting health at 65. This time after winning, I moved up 10 levels each time. At level 360 I was earning $15-$17 million each game.
Game play slowly became more difficult. By level 500 I was losing 10-20 lives, but earning over $20 million/game. But would win any game that I paid good attention to game play.
Then things got tough. I started losing games. It required far more attention. It took me about 5 tries to win at Level 540, but earned $24 million when I did win.
I had to modify my strategy. Normally, I built ground and air defenses concurrently. I found it more effective to just build ground defenses, and build no anti-air until about game level 40, or so. I used a couple Teleport defenses for both aircraft and ground, and by level 40 probably 20 aircraft get through. Then I spend 90% of my funds on anti-air for the next 30-40 levels. When I built concurrently, too many ground and air attacks overwhelm me. Even though I send them back to the start, it gets expensive paying $3 to reset the defense for each one.
I haven't played at level 550 yet, and I'm not sure when I'll spend my upgrade funds. I'll probably give level 550 a couple tries.
I've currently banked $440 million.

I went from Level 360 to level 660 without buying any upgrades. I banked $770 million. But I cannot beat Level 660. About 15-20 ground enemy get through between game levels 12-18 before I can build a teleport. I can continue game play through about game level 50-70, but after a while I'm overwhelmed with both gound and air attacks.
When I win, I earn between $20-$29 million. $29 million has been my best game at about level 550.
At level 660, I earn about $4 -$7 million before I lose.
This morning, I paid $190 million to upgrade Explosives to Level 44. In my first game afterwards, I've got to game level 20, built one teleport, and have lost no lives. I won't be able to finish the game until tonight, but I'm confident that I will beat level 660 with this Level 44 Explosives upgrade.
After I beat Level 660, I'll probably spend all my banked dollars in upgrades and try to beat my $29 million record for a game.

I have been playing the Basic Level map up to about level 50. I wanted to start a different map from level 0, is there a way to reset all the upgrades I have bought?
I'm also addicted to this game. Yes, the second board in the full version is more difficult. But good thing I found good strategy for this game.

Great game, though.
Two things.
1) Not sure how well this would work, but a zoom in/out would be nice.
2) When dragging a new component onto the field, it'll often drop it in the wrong place when I lift my finger. It should detect like if you held it in one spot for .7 seconds, then there's a position shift .2 seconds before your finger leaves the screen, it should know not to put the object in that area. You know what I mean?
Each level takes too long! Because it's long, it really kills my battery and turns me into a zombie. I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from this game. Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit from apathy.
This is the first and only (so far) paid app that I've got for my phone and like most of the posters in here, I'm addicted! It's such a cool game and easily worth the mere $2.99
As an alternative to robodefense, has anyone tried tower raiders beta? Its on the market and is pretty good.
Yeah I'm onto TR now. Kinda got bored with robo defense. Spent a few hours with it already and will probably buy it. Reminds me of Defense Grid, one of my all time favs.
From what I saw on the website, the developer isn't going to make any new improvements to the game...they are apparently working on something else. Kindof sucks
Just beat level 1220. Earning about 70 million a game now. Anyone else up this high?
I too went on hiatus with this game. 1130 was the last level I did. My daughter is graduating from High School and all my free time has been spent dealing with her graduation.
