I'm playing Temple Run on Kindle Fire HD and I have a basic question about technique.

When I see a coin magnet, booster, or invisible guy, sometimes I get it but more often than not I miss it and just waste a boost. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. How do I make sure I catch these guys successfully?

What you really want to do is get your coin maget, booster, invisibility and mega coin upgrades all the way up and then disable all of them except for coin magnet. You will get huge scores doing this

To answer your question, you have to jump up and hit them. If you jump to early or late you will miss them.
