Default Bluetooth Gaming Controllers - Worth It?

I know I jus recently got a MOGA Controller to use with both my Nexus 7 and my Droid RAZR Maxx and every time I user it I can't help thinking to myself if the controller is worth it or not. It can be very sluggish sometimes with response time in games like Dead Trigger and Modern Combat 4. Also, many games aren't totally optimized yet for controller support like the above games because of the sensitivity support and how the sensitivity is the same both ADS and when you walk. It makes the game harder to play than if you didn't use a controller. Other games don't even support controllers yet, which bothers me, like Minecraft. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I have moved this thread to the Gaming forum to see if anyone else in this forum has experience with these controllers you are talking about. I hope this helps

Do any of you know of any alternative bluetooth controllers that will work with an android phone... preferably a rooted?

I currently use a PS3 Controller (OEM because the generic won't work) but I can't customize the D-Pad and the 2 joysticks to have different options. Once setup, the D-Pad and the 2 joysticks serve the same function which defeats the purpose of trying to playing some classic emulated games from N64.

I rooted my Nexus 7 so I could wirelessly use a PS3 controller with it, and really its just a big pain. Unless if they start releasing games on the Play Store with a "controller supported" icon (like they do in Steam) that support a specific kind of universal control scheme, I don't think it would be worth it to buy an Android-Specific controller

Okay so I wanna try out the MOGA universal driver, but I have no idea how to set it up and I can't get it to work. Anyone have any idea on how to get this app to work?

In the playstore for the Moga Universal Driver there is a link to a webpage that gives you step by step instructions. it's basically a forum for xda. if you read through the different pages it will even have setups for games like gta 3.
