Has anyone had any luck running JAVA based games on an android system as of yet? Tried J2me many times but no luck...

everything in android is written in java.
j2me is a micro edition of java, android does not run those natively.
you can try to convert your games to apps that will work on android using this website: Convert Jar to Apk
i didnt try it, i just googled it to help you.
see if it works for you.

Did you find out how to convert .jar to .apk? I tried netmite.com and it takes forever and it cancels itself.
