Andor's Trail.
I've had this game since 2009 (I think) and I still play it. It has an old school feel to it, and good replay value (you choose different upgrades on level ups, and skills every 4 levels).
A few warnings so you know what you're getting into.
1) The game is still in-progress and not complete. Some quests (currently 3) are not fully developed yet (and the main one will probably be a long ways off). Also, there could be changes made to items or skills, and they may not work retroactively (mainly for the skills).
2) Updates don't happen very often, mainly because the developers are working on the game in their spare time so real lives can get in the way.
3) There is going to be a lot of grinding involved (but I feel that is true of most RPGs, at least back in the NES days).
If none of those bother you, give it a try, its free after all. And an update is possible within the next 3 months or so (not a promise though).
