Default Looking for a flight simulator game

I have always been fascinated by flight, and I love airplanes and flying. So, of course, I enjoy flight simulator games.
Can anyone recommend some good flight simulator games for Android? Thank you!

Default I know of the best flight simulator

Hi, I saw your question about a flight simulator.
There is a fantastic flight sim. that is free but, you pay for some of the planes. You get a few for free and the others are I think $1.00 U.s. . The app is called X-Plane and it is such a realistic simulator that you can actually log hours and have them transfer and apply to your real flight training hours. You can choose from Cessna's to Beechcraft to WWII fighters to Commercial jets like 737 and Gulfstream G4's Corporate jets and some exotics like Russian fighters and the U2. Check it out. It has more options like where you want to fly with choices like Southern California or in the Mountains with actual airports that exist from small municipal airports to military and commercial. It is the real deal.
Have fun.

Thank you for the recommendation!
I tried it, but I would also like something more "playful", and a bit less technical. Is anyone aware of any such games?

There's this. Kinda limited but still not extremely technical

Xplane has gotten an Android port, but i cannot say it compares with the desktop version and it seems to have been abandoned by its developer. the good games regarding flight simulation sadly seem to hit iOS and never Android. iOS has some excellent helicopter sims like the Apache and Russian BlackShark. they also have a very good one known as 'Infinite Flight' which is pretty good but seems to exist as a learning tool not a fancy good looks tool. the scenery is flat and bumpy and the only good textures and models are the aircraft. the physics are great though--it is quite real. unfortunately all of them are iOS only. Infinite Flight has a recent blog about a possible Android port however.

Most of the flight sims on Android revolve around remote control stuff. others are 80's homages to ancient vector-graphics flight sims.

on the game side there again is where iOS is ruling. the 'Sky Gamblers' titles are all iOS only. they are very good though and one of the few reasons i even use my iDevices anymore. there is a WWI, WWII and Modern version. i think the WWII is called 'Sky Gamblers Storm Raiders' and the modern one 'Air Supremacy'. sadly iOS only

if you're up on missions involving air strikes and carrier landings, the Android ports of Air Navy Fighters and F-18 Carrier Landing are promising. i have played their iOS counterparts and they are quite good.

Hey notme, have you tried Sky Gamblers Rise of Glory? It is very fun and set in WWI and you fly missions and you get a good feel for the planes and besides missions, there are dogfights against the game or you can fly online local or internet and dogfight other people live. I've been playing it now for about a year. Your best bet is to spend a couple dollars after you fly the free planes to get the feel for the game. You get packs of planes when you buy. But you can win them for free if you win the missions etc... . I love flying games and this is a good semi - tecnical but mpre a game than a sim.
Like nickdalzel said above, the air navy fighter and F-18 games are good but, I found the app froze up a lot and the steering controls would stop working while in a mission. Landing on the carriers is very cool. Doing 2200 mph in a F-15 with the wings swept back is bad ass also. But I could not overlook the freezing and loss of controls. And I'm running my phones with waaaaay large amounts of memory and it still acted up. But it is a good app. It just needs help.

Sky gamblers are all exclusive to iOS, including Rise of Glory, set in WWI. The demo version is on Android but that is about it.

Storm Raiders is the best out of the trilogy. The graphics border on console quality.
