Has anyone figured out how to play Unreal Tournament or Doom on the HTC Hero yet?

I would love to play UT99 on Android but I can't see it being possible

I've played Doom, there is a download somewhere but it's not very easy to control without a physical keyboard. I think Unreal would run like a dog so I wouldn't even bother.

I get about 40FPS average 60FPS max on Quake 2 on my Droid. I don't see why Unreal wouldn't work. The big question is, is it open source so it can be ported?

It's not open source and UT99 came out in '99. Some years after Quake 2 although that said there has been a little progress in a Quake III port so who knows..
