Who thinks this is a misprint? Do they mean 720p video out?

Hard to say. VZW's had misprints on their website before. But if it's for real, that's a game changer. No wonder they're doing the release so close to the iPhone4 availability. The press conference on June 23rd will have Google's Rubin, Adobe and Sanjay. Which means, this device will run flash, i.e. Android 2.2. With a 720p screen, they'll surely steal some of Apple's spotlight. On the VZW, this is a win-win, who cares if it doesn't have a front-facing camera (although that hasn't been ruled out).

Now, this isn't an unusual screen resolution. I believe LG provides the display for the iPhone4 and LG has a mobile 720p display (hinted to go on the LG Apollo). Moto could have sourced the 720p screen from LG for the X. We'll see if that's the case, but they do exist.
