I actually just recently noticed this error too. If you make a calendar entry and list it as "all day", if you go back to edit that event it will automatically set the default date one day ahead if you save it. It only seems to happen if the event is set to all day and does NOT happen if you specify a specific time; have you and your wife noticed that also?
