Default The perfect screen?

I have an HTC Desire (that is a Droid Incredible to Verizon people in the US). I like the 3.7" 480x800 AMOLED screen but it is too reflective and difficult to read under bright sunlight. Also the pentile pixel arrangement means that very small text is a bit blurry.
My Dad has the Samsung Galaxy S which has a 4" 480x800 Super AMOLED screen. It is very beautiful, very bright, not too reflective.
As far as Android phones go the following have the best screen:
HTC EVO - 4.3" 480x800 TFT (stolen from the HTC HD2).
Sony Experia 10 - 4.0" 480x800 TFT
Samsung Galaxy S - 4.0" 480x800 Super AMOLED
Nexus One/HTC Desire/HTC Droid Incredible - 3.7" 480x800 AMOLED.

Anyone my question is what is the perfect screen for an android touchscreen phone?
1. What size?
2. What resolution?
3. What technology, TFT, Super AMOLED etc?
4. As for those who care capacitive or resistive? I expect 80% or 90% want capacitive.

As people know the iphone 4 has a res of 640x960 but they have crippled the size at 3.5" (as a tactic to get people to also buy an ipad no doubt).

I used to own a Nokia internet tablet 770. It had a 4.1" 480x800 resistive screen. The same with the Toshiba TG01.
I think 4.1" is the perfect size. Something like 600x900 resolution. And either a TFT IPS or a RGB Super AMOLED capacitive.

You cant ask everybody what their "perfect screen" is. Everyone's idea is going to be different. Some want a bigger screen, some want smaller. Some want high resolution, some want high contrast.

1. 4" - Bigger than that and it gets bulky for my tastes.
2. 480 x 800 seems nice...
3. Super AMOLED seems like the nicest one out there now...
4. Capacitive, especially if the articles I read are right about resistive touchscreens not yet supporting multitouch.

This is the exact spec of the screen of the Samsung Galaxy S.

Yup. I'd consider buying that phone if I hadn't just bought my Slide a few weeks ago. Then again if I hadn't just bought the Slide, tried Swype, and discovered I really don't need/want a physical keyboard after all, I'd probably dismiss the Galaxy for not having one.

Epic 4G (sprint's offering of the Galaxy s series) WILL feature a slide out keyboard.

I could care less about FFC, flash for camera- I can live with out, but I do miss a physical keyboard. Sprint users, you are lucky.

On a side note, I couldn't believe when a friend of mine showed me her Droid X and it was sans physical keyboard. I actually argued with her before she bought it about it having one. (I was wrong.) I swear I remember reading articles about this phones physical keyboard.....

Capacitive touch screens don't work with prosthetic limbs. I lost my arms in an accident and rely on a hook. I work in IT, am self sufficient, but cannot use any Android or the iPhone because they all have capacitive screens that depend on contact with skin to function. From my perspective its odd that accessibility is never discussed or considered when talking about these mobile smartphones. I expect this behavior from a company like Apple, but this seems counter to the open nature of Android based platform. Every phone doesn't have to have a capacitive screen simply because the perception is that most people prefer this. To me, the current crop of Android phones might as well be an iPhone, a worthless paperweight. I guess I'll stick to a Windows Mobile with a resistive touch screen. BTW, resistive touch screens work incredibly well with a prosthetic hand. All I'm saying is we need choices, accessibility should be given consideration, and every phone shouldn't be made exactly like the iPhone. I would try an Android phone if the makers give me a choice.

There is a capacitive stylus that you can get. Just search amazon and google. I will get it too because I want to be able to draw on the phone and finger painting is kinda silly.

A stylus is not a realistic option. Think about it. Phone rings, pull it out, set it down, pull stylus out, try answering before vm kicks in.
